Great lodge fantastic hosts

Bumble Bee Lodge is stylish, comfortable and clean.

Fiona and Keith were very friendly and helpful and left a generous Welcome Pack - thank you. All the furniture looked new and the huge bed was very comfortable. Lovely powerful shower and the kitchen had everything we needed. We walked to Filey (about 30-40 minutes mostly off road) which was lovely. Scarborough is only a short drive and RSPB Bempton Cliffs is also within easy reach by car. We had lovely stay and would highly recommend Bumble Bee Lodge to other visitors.

An extremely comfortable and well equipped beautiful lodge in a lovely location very close to local attractions and with the added bonus of a village pub with fantastic food.

The friendly, helpful owners live next door and left us wine, chocs, biscuits and milk as a welcome pack. Much appreciated! Would recommend the Ship Inn in Muston for a friendly welcome, good food and a short walk from the property. Filey is also in walking distance and we enjoyed a visit to Monsoon ( not licensed so take your own alcohol) for a tasty curry. Very good location for exploring Filey, Bridlington and the local area. We were there particularly to visit RSPB Bempton Cliffs and Flamborough Head to see the wildlife which didnt disappoint. There are also several interesting stately homes in the area too. A lovely week with excellent weather.

A lovely self-contained cottage ideal for the two of us, with modern appliances, a super shower, and a very large bed, plus sofa and armchairs in the sitting room.

There's even a desk for when writing postcards to family and friends. A large TV in the sitting room and another on the bedroom wall in case you can't agree on what to watch. Very helpful hosts from the welcome basket on arrival to making sure we knew the short cut to the pub! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Fiona is an amazing host, nothing is to much trouble and Bumble Bee Lodge is stunning.

We stayed over the Hot May Bank Holiday week and Fiona very kindly gave us a fan which was much needed. The Lodge has everything you need for a Perfect stay, the bed is very large and comfortable and the area is very quiet. The location is perfect for exploring the East Coast and inland if you require. We visited many locations over our week stay clocking up 200miles and over a 100thousand steps, definitely plenty to see and do. We were couple number 4 to stay, and we would 100% recommend Bumble Bee Lodge to everyone, we really did not want to come home. Couldn't fault it. Comfy bed, great shower, the kitchen has everything you need, lovely patio area to enjoy the sun overlooking the fields. Good base for visiting the local area. Lovely hosts and welcome pack. We have already recommended this property to friends. Would love to return in the future 10/10 Also a great village pub serving homemade meals just a short walk away

Lovely welcome, really lovely property with a lot of thought put into it. Perfect for a couple. Very nice private patio with sunset and field views. Short drive from Filey and a short walk into the village/to the pub. Would highly recommend and we will certainly be booking again.
