  • "We spent a wonderful week at Shepherd's Cottage, it was centrally located for visits to Skye, Inverness, Loch Ness, Fort William and Glen Coe."

    Shepherd's Cottage is situated in an exceptionally beautiful location, which is tranquil and peaceful. An added bonus was a delight to hear young lambs bleating and playing in the field0 behind the cottage. The accomodation is cosy and comfortably furnished with a fully equipped kitchen, a home from home. Thank you for a delightful stay. Hazel, Merle, Al and Monty.

  • "My husband and I had a great week at Shepherd’s cottage."

    It’s in a lovely quiet location, yet there is so much to do close by, especially nice walks and fabulous views. The cottage itself was so comfortable and made for a very welcoming and relaxing place to come back to in the evenings. We slept very well all week with the fresh air and very comfy beds. The owners were very helpful and easily on hand if needed. We certainly hope to return.

  • "A lovely Highland cottage, off the beaten track, but having Fort William and Fort Augustus within easy access."

    Ideal for the west coast islands, The Caledonian Canal, and Loch Ness. Comfortable with all facilities. Friendly helpful hosts.

    Everything here you could possibly need and more for your stay. Kind and friendly hosts,perfect location for touring and visiting this part of Highlands places like Skye,Fort Augustus, Arisaig Inverness not too far to drive. We will return soon hopefully

  • "Second time we have stayed at these cottages this year, this time Shepards cottage which had everything we needed, nice secure garden are with seating for soaking up what sun you hope to get it Scotland."

    The cottage has access to Loch Garry below which is a 3 minute walk. Where you can watch the sunset and take in this beautiful are. Would happily go back again. Good location and base for hiking. Hosts very friendly and accommodating who live onsite.

    We will be back to this or one of the adjoining properties but alas fully booked for the time being.

  • "A really lovely well equipped and spacious cottage."

    The owners who live nearby were especially helpful when we had a few issues to sort due to the poor weather. Great setting. This would be our first choice for accommodation should we plan to visit the area again.

With attractions close by, and teaming with character, this abode is ideal for families and friends looking for a getaway to the Highlands.

Park up and enter into a welcoming home with a delightful sitting room warmed by a woodburning stove, ideal for settling down with a good book after a day of exploring.

The kitchen/diner has a great selection of amenities, and you can dine together in this room.

When sleep calls, freshen up with a soak in the tub or a rinse in the shower, before cosying up for the night in either a double or twin bedroom.

Outside there is a patio space, ideal for alfresco dining, and you can enjoy views of Loch Garry with breakfast in the sitting area beside the water.
