Positioned in Bearnock, around six miles from the village of Cannich and seven miles from Drumnadrochit and Loch Ness, these two properties together sleep up to 22 guests, providing a fantastic base for outdoor adventures in the Highlands. This prime walking destination is sure to be a haven for walkers and ramblers, with a wide range of high and low-level walking and cycling trails to discover, with marked pathways and forest trails around Loch Beinn a Meadhoinn and Loch Affric. Meall Fuar-mhonaidh is a prominent hill with a wooded hiking trail positioned near the vast waters of Loch Ness, another exciting and adventurous spot for kayaking, canoeing and a range of watersports. Ensure to take little ones to the enchanting Nessieland in Drumnadrochit, with the Loch Ness Centre & Exhibition here too, whilst the scenic ruins of Urquhart Castle which overlook the lake make a wonderful viewpoint. Venture over to the bustling city of Inverness for the day, the capital of the Highlands, where you'll find a wonderful array of restaurants, pubs and shops, along with the Ness Islands, Inverness Castle and opportunities for dolphin watching and boat tours! Bring your family and loved ones together in this large, grand mansion which plays host to eight bedrooms, and create lasting memories in the scenic surrounding areas.

The property boasts two open-plan living areas each with a kitchen, dining area and sitting areas, one with a woodburning stove, perfect for socialising together following a busy day of activities.

Come together in the grand dining room continuing the timber panelled décor with a woodburning stove here too, before retiring to the spacious sitting room where multiple sofas have been beautifully arranged, along with an open fire at each end of the room, for family gatherings.

A study area is perfect for catching up on any work, while the bar room is the perfect host to a celebration, with a full bar, a TV and a bar billiards table.

Enjoy exploring the beautiful grounds surrounding the property, with a children's play area that little ones are sure to love, woodland for early morning walks and patio areas for alfresco dining.

The bedrooms rest on the first floor and are all adorned in beautiful furnishings, elegant decoration with the master king-size bedroom featuring an en-suite bathroom, window seat and seating area.

The remaining rooms include a four-poster king-size, two king-size, a double with an en-suite shower room, a further double and finally two twin bedrooms, served by two gorgeous bathrooms and the ground-floor cloakroom.

In addition to the already impressive lodge is a two-bedroom cabin situated in the garden; head up the stairs and relax, while looking out at the woods below.

The village offers good local services including a grocery shop/Post Office and a pub serving food, and close by the villages of Beauly and Drumnadrochit provide enhanced services. Glen Affric is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts and has the largest area of Caledonian pine forest in Britain.
