  • "What an absolute find this was and Sykes yet again did not disappoint."

We had the most wonderful New Year at Bonnach Cottage. It far surpassed our expectations. Luxurious, pristine and well equipped. I love the fact that this cottage for 4 had had excess plates, knives, forks, etc. Always a bug bear of mine when there’s only 4 of everything. This was a real home from home and so secluded apart from the cows which we loved. We could have stayed here forever. Plenty of local trails and within walking distance to the Singleton Distillery which was a real bonus. Bring your wellies though as paths are quite muddy. Thank you for a super stay, hope to return at some point with family. They would love it too. x

  • "Superbly furnished and finished."

Truly a home from home with hugs. Very well stocked and a lovely welcome parcel of local goodies on arrival. Walking distance to local amenaties and central to all that Scotland has to offer. Peaceful setting even though it is on a working farm. The description in the ad does not do this cottage justice, it's an absolute gem.

  • "Fabulous cottage in the middle of farmland, close to a small woodland."

Really well equipped, very comfortable and warm. Close to amenities in Muir of Ord and Beauly with plenty more just a short a drive away (Dingwall, Inverness). Plenty of walks from cottage and in the surrounding area. Great position for heading up the north east coast and out to the west also.

Thank you for leaving feedback, great to know you enjoyed being surrounded by the farmland. Property Owner

  • "Absolutely stunning cottage, beautiful interior, so peaceful."

Having a coffee on the decking in the morning all you can here is the birds and the burn at the side of the cottage. Great base for exploring the Highlands and distilleries or if you just want to chill out at the cottage it's perfect. Been to several cottages in the Inverness area but would definitely come back to Bonnach.

  • "This cottage is a hidden gem in the middle of an outstanding and peaceful area."

We had been to various other cottages in the highlands before, and that one blew us away. It has been furnished and decorated with a great amount of care, with lots of attention to detail and has way more mod cons than would be expected for a holiday cottage, especially with a fully kitted out kitchen with lots of baking and cooking utensils. The owner had provided us with a lot of welcome goodies (biscuits/ cakes, tea, coffee etc) and a fully decorated christmas tree. Having the working farm next door made it even more special and hope to be back one day! It's in a great location with easy access to some of the most beautiful areas of the highlands.
