It is very welcoming spacious, the extra little bits of effort put into our visit made it lovely, including beautiful handmade soaps, would very highly recommend and am already looking at dates for us too return

The house was perfectly equipped for cooking/ dining for us all and spacious living space for tv watching. The decor was beautiful. It’s a great location for beach walks, exploring Nairn or trips to the shops for sweets! We hope to come back one day

  • "Had a fantastic holiday, the house was immaculate clean, and very well set out…."

Chip shop and Indian restaurant just beside house and we tried them both a couple of times and the food was excellent… really handy being able to put your car in the garage as it was terrible rain our last 2 days , but we didn’t get wet packing it, thank goodness….we will definitely be back to this lovely house….

  • "We had a really lovely holiday here - our first in a long time!"

It's a lovely house, super clean (really important at the moment especially!) and great location. There are stairs (lots of) so if you're not mobile, it might cause some problems, but otherwise we would absolutely recommend it as a holiday cottage. We rent across the UK and this is one of the best cottages we've ever had. There's loads to do nearby, and just walking on Nairn beach is a great day out. OneOneTwo - a deli on the high street - does amazing food and wine, and is 3 mins walk away.

  • "On the first evening of our stay, we picked up fish and chips from the local chippy."

“So you’re slumming it down in Fishertown?” he asks with a cheeky glint in his eye. He knew only too well this was a great area to stay in Nairn. Close to an immaculate beach, right by a beautiful river walk and near to some great places to eat…..and that’s before you get into the house! The house itself is just perfect. Very well presented, clean and fully equipped, it is situated in a great part of town. The owners have clearly considered their guests’ needs and have made every effort to ensure our stay is comfortable and relaxed. Our dog loved it - so much that he lay on his back up against the living room window on the morning we were due to leave so we couldn’t put on his harness - he didn’t want to leave! Of course we want to return - it was truly fabulous.

Would definitely recommend the property. with lots to do in the area. A pint of milk, a bottle of Prosecco chilling in the fridge, and a packet of shortbread fingers when we arrived. Well received and thank you very much.

Excellent property in a great location. It is beautifully presented and spotlessly clean, with generous and comfortable living spaces and bedrooms. The standard of kitchen equipment, white goods and laundry facilities was excellent. Very responsive owners, who obviously want their guests to enjoy their visit. Excellent value for money and highly recommended.

This is a beautiful house that really feels like a home from home, every need is catered for. The owners had also left milk, biscuits and a bottle of Processo, which was a really nice touch. The house has a lovely view over the River Nairn and is a stone throw away from the high street and less than a 5 minute walk from a beautiful beach. Already booked again for next year!

Nairn is an attractive and lively seaside town dating back to Victorian times. It has long been a popular holiday destination and is just 16 miles from the town of Inverness. Nairn even lays claim to being one of the driest and sunniest places in the country! The town offers some of the top beaches in Scotland and cleanest bathing waters in Britain. Also, one of the only two dolphin colonies in the UK is based in the Moray Firth. Nairn is steeped in history and is closely linked with the Battle of Culloden, whilst nearby Fort George is Europe’s best preserved 18th century military fortification. Shakespeare’s famed Cawdor Castle and Brodie Caste are both within 15 mins drive. Golfing enthusiasts will be attracted to the two 18-hole championship courses, including the Nairn Golf Club, and the town also has an outdoor tennis court as well as a squash court for hire. The yearly Nairn Highland Games in August draws a wide crowd and The Nairn Book and Arts Festival is a popular year event. Whitewater rafting, tubing and cliff jumping are all available for those with a spirit for adventure. Day trips from the local airport are available to Orkney and Shetland and the Cairngorm National Park with skiing and hiking are within 1 hour.
