    The apartment was amazing, clean, warm and had everything you needed. Comfortable bed, quiet (we did not hear any road noise as was indicated might be the case) . Good off road parking. Lots of beautiful places without needing to go too far. Kathleen, the owner was lovely - very helpful without being intrusive. She has worked hard to create a first class holiday let. We only have praise for Glenmhor. Thankyou Kathleen for a great stay.

  • "The property was in good clean condition with most things that you could need."

    A dishwasher would have been nice but we got away with washing up by hand! The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of cupboard space for food items. A nice touch were the ‘night time’ motion sensor lights in the lounge and hall, mind you they are needed if you require the bathroom at night! Stairs are dark and for us a little awkward as they curve round the top and bottom so care was needed specially at night. Again, for our liking a bannister on the wall would have been nice as my wife is quite frail and clumsy. Location wise it was really good with two petrol stations close by each way and M&S food and Aldi just past the BP garage towards town. There’s a lovely soap shop and cafe across the road serving delicious food all day well worth a visit or two! Owners are very friendly and helpful would recommend them and the accommodation.

  • "Very cosy apartment, with everything you might need for your stay in the area."

    Very convenient location right on the A82 to go north, south, etc. Town Centre is also reachable on foot (ca 40 mins) through some lovely grazing grounds. There is some traffic noise during the day, but nothing noticeable to disturb a good nights sleep. Kathleen and her family were very lovely and had good recommendations for the area. Loved my stay and would recommend!

  • "Glenmhor apartment is a wonderful, comfortable base from which to explore the Fort William area."

    It was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we needed for our holiday. We had a warm welcome from Kathleen and felt reassured that she was nearby if we had any queries. Glenmhor is well situated, with walks from the door and the facilities of the town close by. We loved our stay and would not hesitate to book again next time we want to stay in the area.

  • "Kathleen was very welcoming and showed me around the apartment."

  • "Glen Mhor is spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable, well equipped, plenty of hot water, and the WiFi works (which is not true of all properties)."

    We have stayed here before more than once, and our best recommendation is that we hope to return and that we would not stay anywhere else in the Fort William area. Kathleen is a lovely lady who is always friendly and certainly makes you welcome, but is unobtrusive. We will be back!

    The apartment has everything you need and is within walking distance of all amenities. The apartment was very clean and tidy and a great base for our cycling and hiking holiday. The owners were also very kind and friendly, we felt really looked after.

  • "The Glenmhor Apartment we stayed at was fabulous, very clean and comfortable with everything that we needed."

    the only gripe I have is that there was no coffee table in the apartment, we mentioned this to the owner, and she said that she would sort it out. The apartment was very local to shops and supermarkets etc. Kathleen, the owner, was very friendly and would stop to say something every time she met you. We will definately be going back there again.

Ben Nevis 2 miles; Glencoe 16 miles; Kinlochleven 22 miles.

The main town in the Western Highlands, Fort William lies on the banks of Loch Linnhe, and offers a wide variety of shops, and pubs which serve a fine selection of meals. The area boasts spectacular scenery and a plethora of walking opportunities, from gentle ambles to more strenuous expeditions, and of course, Britain’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis. Ski enthusiasts will also enjoy the Nevis Range, a ski resort with a mountain gondola, along with a World Cup mountain biking course located just four miles from Fort William.
