etc. if you forget to bring anything you don't need to worry it's here. Gary is a friendly host & quick to respond to any queries & has the lodge well maintained & very reasonably priced, thanks again.

  • "Our stay was great nice and warm and cosy as I was born and bread In Northumberland the location was spot on, For Morpeth and Alnwick and the coastal towns, only one draw back was the recliner chair was not working and that was one of the items that attracted us to the lodge my wife is unable to sleep in a normal bed so she would sleep on the recliner but someone had taken the plug from it, but other than that everything was fine if the recliner does not work in the future we will not be back there thanks."

  • "Me and my wife had an amazing time with our 2 small dogs."

Great accommodation and views in a quiet location. Only very small issue is the weak WiFi connection. We would definitely like to return and recommend.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree the WiFi isn't great and I will keep looking into how I get a better signal for your return Property Owner

  • "Very clean and comfortable and had everything that we needed for our stay."

The bed and pillows were especially comfy. The decking was a bit slippery when wet and could do with a little maintenance, but this didn't spoil our stay in any way. Would definiately book again in the future.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree the decking needs replacing and will be done hopefully in closed season 2026, as I was let down this year. Hopefully we'll see you again Property Owner

  • "On arrival all we wanted was a brew No milk my husband had to do a 2 mile ..."

On arrival all we wanted was a brew No milk my husband had to do a 2 mile round trip to get a bottle wellcome pack consisted of bottle of Prosecco and a packet of ground coffee Wi-Fi was nearly non existent lodge advertised as having Netflix Amazon we could get nothing on,y ordinary telly We have been to Percy Wood 5 times now we LOVE PERCY WOOD the site and will DEFINITELY return we like a game of golf ⛳️ and the golf course has improved immensely so thank you PW for that

Thank you for your feedback. While we go above and beyond for our guests, we cannot cater for all. We originally supplied small uht milk cartons, but found most guests bring their own or visit the shop at Coast and Country. After contact I supplied details for Netflix and explained the issue with Amazon prime. Again guests generally use their own accounts and so deactivate our account. I have asked Sykes's to remove this from the summary. The WiFi has always been an issue, but since the new one was fitted I have had no complaints. Property Owner

  • "A really lovely, clean and comfortable lodge."

Plenty of space and everything you would need was provided, including kitchen equipment, toiletries etc. I would recommend this lodge for exploring Northumberland. The only issue we had was the occupants of next door had music and loud singing until 1am one night which disturbed sleep. Possibly a problem with such large holiday sites.

Sorry to hear that you were disturbed, the site has security on and this should have been picked up? I will ensure that the security number is in the information booklet provided as the site does not accept this type of behaviour, not should you. Thanks for the kind feedback on the lodge though and we hope to see you again Property Owner
