Spacious, comfortable and well equipped holiday home.

Very comfy beds and lovely welcome gifts. Jedburgh Abbey and Castle Jail well worth visiting (plus great ice cream place in Jedburgh), and definitely worth going a little further to Dryburgh Abbey and to Trimontium Museum (amazing VR experience - our teenagers loved it).

We loved this property as soon as we saw it and it suited our requirements perfectly.

The views from the property are stunning and all the rooms are of a good size and very comfortable. The only minor criticism that we have is that for a property with the ability to sleep seven people, one combined shower/toilet did prove a little inconvenient at times although this would in no way put us off of staying there again. In general we were all very happy.

Lovely spacious and clean bungalow that easily accomodated our party (6 adults, 3 toddlers).

Easy access, parking and key collection were fine. We were given a generous amount of logs for the fire upon arrival. Proeprty was lovely and warm, we had to turn the heating off at times, probably due to the unseasonal heat outside.

The cottage was fabulous.

Comfy and spacious and suitable for anyone. We all had a lovely stay. Owners were very helpful too.

Lovely peaceful location. The property is very comfortable and clean. We love an Autumn holiday here. A glass of wine in front of the cosy log burner on a dull afternoon looking out to the countryside is so relaxing!

The accommodation was ideal for all we wanted to do. Brenda was helpful and answered any query I had. What was a real surprise was the welcoming pack which seem to be forgotten in lots of places. A nice warm welcoming touch. Would recommend and use again if visiting the area.

The facilities were very good and it had everything you could possibly need for your stay. The owner was very responsive and answered any questions we had. We would definitely return again for another stay.

Quiet, peaceful and beautiful views of sunset. Close to shopping, grocery, attractions and castle, less than 10 min drive to everything. If ever in Scotland again wouldn't pass up staying here..

The bungalow is spacious, comfortable and very well equipped.

The recently added decking area is glorious in the sunshine. The owners are friendly and welcoming, having left a thoughtful welcoming pack. The surrounding area is stunning, with the likes of Jedburgh nearby. All contributing to a relaxing stay.

The famliy recently returned from a weeks stay in this lovely bungalow just over the Scottish border.

From the moment we arrived we struck by the cleaniness and welcoming atmosphere of the bungalow. The kitchen was well equipped and catered for all the family. All the rooms were spacious and accommodated all the famliy with towels being provided aswell. Parking for 3 cars outside the bungalow with still plenty of space. The friendly and helpful communication from the owner [ Brenda] was brilliant and she was readily available for any queries and questions. The welcoming pack was very thoughtful, even providing dog treats for our famliy pet. Would highly recommend to friends and famliy, my elderly dad absolutely loved the bungalow and wants to go back in the future.

The welcome gifts were amazing and much appreciated. This time we went to Lindisfarne, Harestanes playground and Wilton Lodge Park for the children. We will definitely be back again.

Absolutely loved our stay here.

Just a couple of suggestions; there were only 7 forks in the cutlery set for our 8 guests. The cups are very small (that's just us being picky because we like a big mug of coffee!), and we really needed some bigger pans! The welcome package was amazing and very well received! Thank you for providing a very comfortable home from home for our stay. We celebrated our daughter's 30th birthday as well as bringing in the new year

The property was clean, warm and comfortable and I appreciated the welcome gifts which were very nice.

My only minor complaint is that the property was missing a few basic kitchen items that would have been useful. I suggest the owners purchase a set of kitchen scales, sieve and whisk. The external wooden rail would benefit from a coat of paint. Apart from that everything was lovey and I wouldn't hesitate recommending the property. Thank you.

! This was such a lovely bungalow with everything we needed. When we needed assistance with the fire they were over in minutes to help us. Super friendly and the neighbours were also super friendly. We stayed here while we were going to see Taylor Swift and it was perfect to have the space to catch up with friends. Comfortable beds and living space, wish we were there longer to enjoy some alfresco dining on the lovely decking! Thank you, we will definitely be back again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

House was spotless and well equipped.

The only downside was the beds were a bit hard. But that's a personal thing. The welcome gift, milk and bag of ice was a nice surprise. The location for us was perfect.

Charming and homely property, nestled away in the beautiful landscape, close to the Scottish Borders.

I love everything about this property! From the comforting entrance hall, to the large family sitting room, and along to the generous size bedrooms. Everything about it enhanced our stay and reminded us why we love returning to the north

Absolutely delightful place to stay.

Amazing location and the bungalow was fantastic. Very well equipped and the owners were very accommodating, friendly and welcoming while leaving us well alone to get on with our holiday. Stayed over Christmas and the owners put up a Christmas tree and decorations as well as table decorations for Christmas dinner. Would most definitely recommend and will definitely be returning.

Broombaulks Farm is without a doubt our "go to" UK holiday for our family!

This is our 4th stay in the property and it hasn't faultered. The surrounding walks are peaceful and great for dogs, the surrounding towns are welcoming and have everything you need and wonderful places to eat. The house itself is warm, cosy and welcoming and has everything you will need. We will 100% be back again soon!

Lovely clean bungalow.

Everything you could need. I will say, and it is only my opinion, there are three double beds and it maybe that the property might benefit from having at least 1 king sized or zip link beds. The bedrooms are large and would easily accommodate a bigger bed, again that’s our opinion. This is not a criticism just personal choice. A lovely property in a lovely area

Rooms were all very spacious and clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. We will definitely be returning!

Absolutely lovely holiday cottage, immaculately clean, spacious and well appointed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The local area has plenty to offer and Brenda, our host, was very kind and welcoming. We sat outside every evening and were prepared for traffic noise, but there was none, just the occasional vehicle passing. We would definitely recommend this property to others.

We visited the property in August of last year and fell in love.

As soon as we got home we re-booked to come back in the February school holidays and already we are looking to go back in the six weeks holidays as even our 2 year old is upset to be home. The house is so comfortable and clean, it has everything you need for your stay, it feels like a home away from home. It's also full of wildlife around the property and so quiet for being near a main road. The "traffic" isn't a problem in the slightest you get the odd few cars during the day and hardly any at all on a night. At night if you get a clear sky, go and sit and look at the stars it's an unbelievable experience if you live in a city like ourselves. The owners are lovely, lovely people and will help you with anything they can. I love the tray the owner leaves on arrival for you, it feels so personalised to the family visiting somehow! the owner also popped round to tell us a few places we could visit nearby with our children! I must also mention the neighbors as they make their own honey and it's unbelievable and their dog Finn is the most gentle German Shepherd I've ever come across he deserves a mention in this review. We can't wait to return again as soon as we can.

The house was beautifully decorated and extremely clean.

We were pleased tobe welcomed by friendly and helpful owners.The immediate surroundings are great for dog walks and nature lovers. We would surely go there again.

Beautiful property, the owners are lovely and helpful, the house was clean and some treats were left for everyone, dog included.

The neighbours have some beehives and sell honey from their home, they were a very friendly and a helpful family also. Beautiful walks just out of the door and a short drive away are some very picturesque villages and towns. Some reviews said the traffic noise was to much but its not bad at all, the odd cars etc throughout the day but night time was very quiet. We will return in the future.

The interior of the cottage is lovely.

Very clean, spacious and well equipped. Brenda gave me a very warm welcome on arrival. Unfortunately the garden and proximity to the A68 meant we cut our stay short. The small grass area with tables and chairs is separated by a hedge to the very busy road so sitting out wasn't really an option for us given traffic noise. In addition, as was noted in the property description before booking, we couldn't let our dog off lead in the garden which proved a bit of a hindrance. The garden really isn't appropriate for having a dog in my opinion as there is only a narrow stretch of grass and a lot of gravel which our dog wasn't keen on! I appreciate my comments on the external space and proximity to the busy road is a personal thing and others may not be concerned about traffic noise. It was a deal breaker for us and the lack of sleep due to traffic noise right through the night (had to have windows open as so hot) unfortunately hampered our stay.

Nice property with lots of space for larger families or friends, would be nice to have a bit more garden seating and bbq but obviously would pay more for this.

Property much nicer in real life! Would have appreciated a dishwasher and a few more kitchen pieces, a seive, a water jug for example. We were grateful for the welcome pack.

Booked the cottage 2 hours before turning up, even though it was very short notice the cottage was prestine and welcoming.

A lovely welcome pack was left for us adults and our dogs. Can't fault a thing, would definitely recommend and return. Owners were very helpful advising of local area and local amenities.

Gorgeous walk and seneary around the lakes that was at our door steps to the cottage. Visited historical castles such as Floor Castle in Kelso. And a lots of other things. We had a great stay at Broombaulks.

House was lovey and cosy and the owners were very friendly and accommodating. A great base to explore the borders!

We arrived at Broombaulks a day late thanks to Storm Eunice, but when we arrived after a 6 hour journey, we were given a lovely warm welcome by the owners.

The fire was lit and the bungalow was really warm and welcoming. We had a lovely tray of treats waiting for us, and a couple of chewy bones for the dog too! We had a lovely week in Jedburgh, and it was lovely to return to the bungalow after chilly days out and light the fire. We are a family of 5 and the accommodation was very spacious. Highly recommended if you are looking to stay in this area.
