  • "We stay in Wooler every October, as a base for walking and exploring beautiful Northumberland."

This is the best cottage we've rented and we've already booked for next year! Very comfortable and practical house. Excellent beds.

Very clean, well equipped and comfortable. So central to explore the lovely county and all it has to offer. Wooler is a lovely town, enjoyed breakfasts at the cafe and great meal at Milan. Can’t wait to return

  • "Stewart House was comfortable and clean."

The owners had thought of everything and looking through the guest book had obviously acted on any previous comments and acted on them. Would recommend.

A great base for myself and family. Thank you

  • "Property was beautifully clean and tidy, and situated close to the High Street."

Not really suitable for young children due to the size of the gravelled garden, although there was a nice box of toys and books provided. Older children or adults would love the house, athough space in the single beds room is very tight. .

  • "The cottage was one of the best we have had."

It was clean and comfortable with everything provided and then some! The kitchen was also well equipped with plenty of cutlery and crockery so we didn't have to keep washing up. It was handy for the local shops and a good location for exploring the area. There was only 4 adults staying so it felt very spacious. I would certainly look at staying at Stewart House again.

  • "On the whole, a lovely clean, spacious cottage with up to date facilities and equipment (with instructions where appropriate)."

Bedrooms were well portioned with nice furniture and comfortable beds. Deco throughout was fresh and neutral. Only niggle was in the upstairs bathroom. Again, nice deco, mostly very clean, except a few white tiles in the shower cubicle (the grout in-between several lower tiles needed cleaning - black mould, nothing that a little srubbing would get rid of).

It was clean, comfortable and well furnished with everything we needed. We very much enjoyed our stay in a beautiful part of the country. Property is well located to be able to explore the area and places such as Berwick, Bamburgh, Alnwick.

  • "The property was lovely, a lot more spacious than photos show."

Fully equipped with everything you would need for a holiday stay. The location is ideal, close to the main street with village shops, including a bakery, butches and a co-op. Plenty of choice for eating out, whether that be visiting a local pub or getting a take away. We had a lovely week and I highly recommend.

Wooler has lovely shops and cafes. Parking for two cars outside on the road. Free car park opposite but we never had to use it. The cottage is well equipped and comfortable. Great location for exploring Northumberland and the boarders.

  • "The house is lovely and large, great for four adults two children and two dogs."

Smelt lovely when we walked in and the house was very clean. The gravel garden is smaller than we originally thought, however it was ok for us as we were out all day. Area is very quiet, ideal on the edge of the village to walk into. Parking outside or car park opposite. Great sized kitchen with plenty of utensils and equipment including dishwasher, toaster, microwave etc. Nice size dining room. Beds very comfortable. Towels lovely and thick and a very good size. As a family we had a fantastic stay at Stewart House and would recommend. It is a good 30 minutes drive to the beach. However you are surrounded by beautiful walks on the doorstep
