The 3 flights of stairs might sound a lot but because the treads are so shallow they are manageable. We are very happy you’ve enjoyed your stay. Our apologies for our late response. Hi Paul, Further to my response below we have now been able to hear back from the Internet provider and the other 2 apartments below. The Internet was very poor throughout December and January. This was due to the Fibre service being installed in the street. We will have full Fibre Broadband with exponential speeds compared with what we had before. We have ordered this and it will be installed on 3rd March 2025. This was out of our control as you can appreciate. Please can we ask you to revisit your review score if possible as we work hard to improve, listen and update our apartment constantly. This would be greatly appreciated and would keep our good score as we work to keep our guests comfortable. :) Thank you for your feedback. It is really important for us to make sure we look after our guests and try to put right what concerns they have. The TV is a Fire Stick TV. When I ordered this I thought it would be good for guests to have all the apps to watch their favorite channels. We will change the TV in the future however at the moment it is only 7 months old. We apologize for this not working well. We did get the TV looked at and it was reported it works fine. We will be going to Jedburgh in a few months and will look at it as well. With regard to the noise from the main road this is the reason we installed the expensive shutters. They actually really help with reducing the noise. We stayed in the apartment when there were no shutters and the difference we noticed with the shutters was incredible, it was so much quieter. We are surprised that there was that much traffic over Christmas as normally that is the time when work is finished and people are with family. We hope you still book the apartment in the future.
