  • "This property is but a hair shy of pure perfection, peaceful country setting and a only the sheep and chickens to share your sunset."

Cozy and comfortable, Darren is very tentative welcomes you with a care package. The bathroom is equipped with an amazing rain shower and a large heavenly bath tub to wash away your stress. A fabulous location close to castles, priory's, churches and bridges from the past and a 15 min drive from Scotland. Cherry Studio is what dreams are made of! However, Sykes is the worst booking service, I will not use them in the future

  • "An excellently appointed and very comfortable studio apartment in a lovely quiet and peaceful part of the world and with a nearby (easy walking distance) pub with good quality food."

The extensive shared garden area was excellent for sitting out and has great views over the surrounding countryside. There were sheep in their adjoining field and it was so nice to be able to feed their hens (and sample their eggs) The hosts were very friendly and helpful. A memorable stay and we will return !!

  • "The studio was everything we had hoped for."

Very comfortable and plenty of room for the dogs to feel at home. Hosts were exceptional, we even picked fruit from their garden. Great base for heading out to see the tourist spots. Great parking facilities. Will definitely stay there again. The renovation work there is to a very high standard yet very homely. Five stars from us and the dogs

  • "We stayed in a top class apart hotel in France earlier this year but Cherry Studio far excelled that accommodation."

Cherry had everything we needed for a 7 day break. It was so comfortable, spacious and very well equipped. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We were surprised and delighted with a very generous welcome gift waiting for us when we stepped inside for the first time.

  • "Great studio style unit, very well finished with nice kitchenette and great bathroom with superb show and separate bath."

Location is great, with a pub just 2 mins walk away and a great little cafe 5 mins drive. We were visiting family in Berwick which was an easy 20min drive through stunning countryside. Only downside is the lack of somewhere to dry the towels, there is a towel radiator but it didn’t seem to be programmed to come on and there are no heating controls available to the guests.

  • "The property was easy to find as it's right on the A697, about 4 miles east of Cornhill-on-Tweed."

With easy, convenient, and safe parking onsite, the property draws on spectacular vistas of sublime countryside living. A sturdy wooden gate opens up onto a secluded courtyard with individual, private lodgings, each with their own keybox. This was a great idea and made accessing the studio a breeze. Inside, we found lodgings that were neat and tidy and very clean. It was a pleasure to see this, and we noted the time and effort it took to achieve such thoroughness. The kitchenette was complete with an electric stove, microwave, and dishwasher, although the latter two were redundant. A gloriously spacious bathroom, complete with an individual shower, presented a real feast for the eyes. The living area and double bed were more than sufficient for our needs and were very comfortable. All in all, we had a pleasant stay in a picturesque location that will be fondly remembered. Thank you very much.

  • "Upon entering we noticed cobwebs on the walls at side front window, also found two sewing needles on the carpet at side of bed nearest window."

Little disappointed no housekeeping service, bathroom did not have toilet brush or mat inside shower, apart from this it was a comfortable place to stay.

Each studio is thoroughly cleaned before anyone stays. It’s a self catering holiday home. A hotel may be a better bet if you require daily “housekeeping”. Of course you may pay much more in a hotel. We were as amazed at you about the magical discovery of needles. How strange. Property Owner

  • "Beautifully decorated and a really high quality fit-out, especially the bathroom."

Idyllic location with views of rolling hills and paddocks. Enclosed courtyard ideal for dogs. Perfectly located for the best of Northumberland and a short drive from Bamburgh, Holy Island and Berwick and well-located for Kielder Forest too. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly reccomend!

  • "Cherry Studio and it’s location in the Cheviot foothills is fantastic for a get-away-from-it-all vacation."

Easy access to the marvellous coastline and to inland places to visit, it could not have been better placed. The studio itself is in a courtyard setting with fabulous views from the out-facing windows; inside it it is modern and spacious with all that you need for self-catering. The accommodation is clean and tidy, as well as warm on those cold nights outside. Pet friendly with grass and courtyard enclosures - 4-legged friends will enjoy it too. We caught up with owner Darren who gave great ideas of where to visit and made us feel very welcome. Can’t wait to visit again
