Mill Farm House

Mill Farmhouse exceeded all our expectations and was the perfect place for our family holiday and birthday celebration.

The house is beautifully presented, exceptionally comfortable, and finished to a very high standard. Everything had been thoughtfully provided, from the quality furnishings to the exceptionally well-equipped kitchen, making it easy to cater for our family gathering. One of our favorite things was being able to walk straight from the farmhouse, across the fields and through the dunes, to the beach. The beach was wonderfully peaceful and unspoilt, making it ideal for walking, swimming, and birdwatching. The sea was just warm enough for a short swim, and our nearly four-year-old grandson loved digging in the sand. The walk was short enough for him to manage comfortably, which made the whole experience even more special. The attention to detail throughout the property really stood out, and it was clear that every effort had been made to ensure guests had a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We left with wonderful family memories and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mill Farmhouse to anyone looking for a high-quality coastal getaway. We hope to return.

Property was just stunning , it is perfect for a large group with plenty of space internally and externally .

The setting and location are beautiful the only feedback would be potholes on access road . The house was enjoyed by all and we enjoyed visiting many of the areas beaches and nearby villages. Cragside was our group favourite it offers a fantastic day out and we loved the history. Highly recommend this property , will definitely return and cannot praise Catch the Breeze enough for holiday support and information it was all first class .

We rented Mill Farmhouse and the neighboring Old Watermill for a week to host a family get together of 14 people including 2 children (aged 7 and 1).

The first observation is about the location. Completely private with views of meadows in all directions and a lovely stream flowing by the properties. All you can hear is birdsong. The English Coast Path is a 5 minute walk through a meadow, with the dunes and beach just beyond. The houses themselves are beautiful. Inside, everything has been built / renovated using the highest quality fittings and decor. Nothing has been overlooked. The beds and bedding are comfortable, the towels big and fluffy. Both houses had great lounges and dining tables enabling us to gather as a group. The houses are extremely well equipped and the cleanliness and condition was exemplary. It is hard to put into words just how impressive these houses are. Our dealings with Tara and Clare, the highly responsive staff were delightful. If you are looking for a coastal retreat, surrounded by lovely countryside and convenient for Bamburgh, Alnwick, Craster etc you would be delighted by this property.

Stunning property in an amazing location.

Property has so many little extras that make it a 5* holiday, lots of considerate little touches. We stayed as a family group and we all loved the property, location, beaches and area. So much space in the property, main living area is superb and where most of our time at the property was spent. Bedrooms are all en-suite and fitted to the highest standard.

Mill Farm House was absolutely stunning!

The location was perfect, quiet and calm and just a short walk across the field to the beautiful beach, or a little further to several pubs. It was a great property to sit and watch all of the birds, and the binoculars were a super addition! The layout, decor, and furnishings were top top quality and we loved the reading room with views all around of the countryside. The bathrooms were immaculate and the bath especially was fantastic! Every last detail had been thought of and we cannot wait to come back!

This is a wonderful place to stay.

The best we’ve ever stayed in and we’ve been to a lot. The Farmhouse is exceptionally well presented and equipped with everything you need. All you need is your own toiletries and you’re all set for an amazing stay. Exceptionally stylish, comfortable, warm and as clean as a whistle. A short stroll across the field and you are at the beach and within easy reach of other interesting places along the dunes path. Can’t wait to go back - already booked!

Mil House Farm is the best holiday home we have ever stayed in and we regularly stay in holiday homes like this.

The house is immaculate and done to an exceptional standard from the furnishings, to the decor and the bathrooms. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, there are two dishwashers and fridge freezers which is great for bigger parties. The welcome basket is the most generous I have ever received and included so many treats and essentials. We had a wonderful stay and cannot wait to come back.

We absolutely loved this house!

It looked great on the details but, if anything, was even better than anticipated. It was immaculate, comfortable and had everything we needed - from useful stuff like washing up liquid, tea towels and cling film, to lovely welcome gifts like fresh bread, sweets and honey. The gifts for the dogs were a lovely bonus and the dogs themselves loved having the garden to race around in. The views from the house are beautiful and sliding open the big doors and having a cup of tea in the sunshine was a delight. The extra living room was useful to give the adults somewhere to retreat to when the kids were noisy, although the central living area was so big there was space for us all to spend time together too, which was great. We loved the easy access to the beach (just a short walk across the field and over the dunes) and we also walked into Beadnell for tea at the Craster Arms one evening which took about 30 mins (on the way back when we knew where we were going). We appreciated not having to drive for the weekend. Thank you so much - we are already planning our next visit!

The house is so tastefully decorated & had everything (& more) that you could possibly need for a relaxing break. Being so close to the beach for stunning coastal walks was a bonus too. A welcome hamper like none we’ve ever seen before and even a goodie bag for the dog
