Really well set out and really comfortable.
Brilliant location, 50 metres from the beach (for great dog walks) and just around the corner from the some nice shops, cafes and pubs.
We had a great time and would return.

"We had a wonderful week and Alnbank is a lovely property."
Very clean, well
equipped, amazing amount of games! Our only complaints would be the beds, they are extremely uncomfortable and all 4 of us had minimal sleep. The sofas also are clearly in need of an upgrade, very soft/well used.

"This is our 2nd stay at Alnbank and we l9ved it just as much this time as the 1st."
The closeness to the beach fir our aging Labrador was perfect he found a new spring in his step which was fabulous to see.
The house its self is spacious, warm and cosy and has everything you need you make you comfortable.
As with other reviews and from staying at the property previously, I really think it's time to purchase a new oven, although there are instructions I found them difficult to translate to the actual dials on the oven. The 1st night after a few changes on the dials we got the oven working fine, 2nd night I just couldn't get the right combination and it ran cold for a long time until I twiddle a bit more.
That is my only complaint once again we had a great stay and will visit again in the not too distant future.

"We stayed at Alnbank for a week, with the dog, It is in a perfect location just off the main street and only a very short walk to the beach."
It was very clean, all the mod cons you could ask for. The kitchen was a lot bigger than we expected and the bathroom heated floor was very nice. Will definitely look to stay again in up in that area again.

"We enjoyed our stay at Alnbank, which was nice and clean."
The kitchen would benefit from a few more utensils, e.g. tongs, additional frying pans, baking trays and a new oven as the dials were worn off and the oven linings were very loose. The double bed was very creaky and the mattresses were very thin on all the beds. Overall we enjoyed our stay and with a few improvements it would be great.

"Fantastic holiday accommodation in beautiful Alnmouth."
Only two minutes walk to the beach and local pubs. The accommodation is spotless and has everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We will definitely be back next year.

"Alnbank is a home from home property."
Very comfortable, everything provided that you could possibly need. Very comprehensive instructions for appliances etc. very close to the beach and local amenities. Close to station and bus stops. Would definitely stay here again.

"We generally really liked and enjoyed the property, especially as it was only two minutes from the beach, so handy for dog walking."
It was pleasantly and comfortably decorated and furnished, and well equipped. Our only criticisms/suggestions, which were very minor, would be the re-decoration of the shared entrance hall, the provision of decorative garden lighting for the rear terrace, the provision of more than one loo roll, and perhaps the provision of a kitchen roll.
And finally, we must mention the locals...Wonderfully friendly and approachable!

"The Yard and garden furniture was dirty and unkempt."
The kitchen was dated,needed a good clean and Makeover. The oven grill did not work and the set points on the controls were unreadable.Parking was quite tight and we did not get a permit from the owner.On a whole I not feel it was worth the money we spend staying there. We have payed less for a better standard of accommodation at peak times in Northumberland.

Please understand that with such a tight changeover and the property being so popular and busy, trying to keep the back yard and furniture perfectly clean is a challenge! I hope you recall that I did call you and explained about the parking permit and about the grill. Most clients have commented that the kitchen is modern and well equipment and each year the property is updated and painted. Thanks

"An excellent property that more than met our needs."

"Clean, comfy, well equipped apartment."
Unfortunately there was a problem with the heating system so certain areas were very cold. The owner contacted us and arranged for a heating engineer to call and was clearly concerned and very apologetic about the problem. Extra fan heaters in the property so managed to heat the necessary areas.
The open plan kitchen/living area was well equipped, good shower in the bathroom, parking permit for outside the property, close proximity to the beach and Main Street.
Thankyou for your support and understanding. We have solved the heating issue which was a blocked radiator pipe!

"We had a lovely stay in your delightful apartment."
The parking permit was very much appreciated.
Lovely and clean.
At times a little chilly especially in the sitting room. But then again it was January.
The mattress on the double bed could be better, crisp white sheets and a choice of pillows would be perfect..
Perhaps a shaving point in the bathroom.
All in all a very lovely apartment would definately stay again

The location is superb, the beach and the village just being on the doorstep. The parking permit is an excellent plus as well as being able to take our dog. All on one floor so also excellent for people who have disabilities.

"Alnbank was in the perfect position for us in the heart of Alnmouth just two minutes from the beach for our twice daily walks (with scottie)."
It was very warm and welcoming and we very soon felt at home. It was well equipped and we appreciated both bath and excellent shower which also served as a drying area on the very wet day.

Exceptionally clean, very good kitchen equipment and providing a very high standard of finish in all areas. Centrally located to some very good village amenities. At times car parking in front of house was unavailable, but we always found somewhere to park on the road.
