  • "We have stayed at this property a number of times and others on the site but we noticed a huge improvement this visit."

    It was lovely before but had many new additions that really perfected the property. Lovely cushions, rugs and a new carpet being a few. The kitchen was well equipped, nothing we couldn’t find. Plenty of glasses, plates and cups. Tennis rackets, yoga mat, candles everything. The place was spotless when we arrived and we really enjoyed our trip. Thank you

  • "This is a lovely and very well kitted out cottage."

    We felt very comfortable and at home here with everything you need for catering for a family holiday. It was comfortable for the five of us, however I’m not sure how comfortable it would be for 7 adults in the sitting room. It’s great that dogs are accepted in a beautiful cottage - so often people with dogs are left with very old and worn out furniture, thank you for that. We will definitely come back as we felt very comfortable. The only thing that we didn’t like were the flat bottom sheets on the beds. They kept slipping during the night and were quite annoying. You may want to have a look at the middle support of the curtain rail by the dining table, it’s very wobbly. The downstairs bedroom needs a lightbulb in the ceiling light.

  • "Beautiful beach house in a great location, perfect for a family get together."

    The property was beautifully clean. Lovely welcome touches provided by the owner, which included a hamper as we were Christmas guests. That was a good indication of the owners commitment to their guests enjoying their stay. No hesitation in recommending the property to anyone looking for a holiday retreat.

  • "Ideal beach house in excellent location , high standard of furnishings and cleanliness , would book again."

    However there were issues: Major - the heating wasn’t working on arrival , and to bathe 2 children we needed to boil kettles. We reported the problem shortly after arrival , the heating was repaired on Saturday at 11am. Minor - on arrival we noted that the curtain rail in the main bedroom needed fixing , as well as the shower head in the main bathroom.

  • "We had our first stay at the Beach House 12th-19th May 2023."

    I say first, because we would love to return. The house is spacious, light filled and with its open plan layout designed for modern living. With every comfort catered for, it is the perfect place to kick back and relax in. We know the area well and it is ideally situated for beach walks and activities or alternatively trips into the Northumberland hills. There are just the right amount of cafe and dining options in Beadnell for when cooking on holiday is just too much work without it being overly crowded and Seahouses is a very short drive away to cater for most whims and needs.

Boasting an enviable location close to the beach in Beadnell near Seahouses in Northumberland, The Beach House is a superbly presented and elegant property which is just perfect for a family holiday.

The accommodation is immaculately presented with high ceilings and large windows which help to create a feeling of light and space.

The sitting area benefits from a vaulted ceiling arranged in front of a feature fireplace and picture windows showcasing delightful views and is the ideal place to gather and enjoy spending time with each other.

The sleek kitchen is fully fitted with everything needed to produce delicious food for the whole family and when it’s time to serve up, take a seat at the dining table where you can imagine spending many hours drinking, dining, and socialising.

If the sun is shining, then throw open the patio doors and step onto the sunny decking area or if you’re feeling active then pick up your tennis racquet and take advantage of the on-site tennis courts.

When it’s time for bed, guests can choose from three wonderfully appointed bedrooms; a ground-floor double, a king-size and a family room.

Whatever combination of guests there are in your party there’s a bedroom to suit.

In the morning, you’re already in the perfect setting with the beach at Beadnell just a short walk with miles of sandy beaches just asking to be discovered.

Jump in the car and head to places such as Seahouses, Bamburgh, Warkworth and Alnmouth or go for a scenic drive to attractions such as Bamburgh Castle, Hadrian’s Wall, Northumberland Country Zoo, Dunstanburgh Castle, Alnwick Castle and Gardens and you can even take a boat trip to Farne Islands where you might get sightings of unusual birds and even seals.

BEADNELL

Seahouses 1.5 miles; Bamburgh 5 miles.

This attractive and peaceful harbour village is situated beside one of the most beautiful stretches of Northumberland's Heritage Coastline - Beadnell Bay. Established in Saxon times, Beadnell was once an important fishing village and a smuggler's haven. Nowadays, it is still a fishing village, but is equally popular with holidaymakers who come to enjoy its pretty harbour and, of course, the nearby sandy beaches. The village has a shop, two pubs, two cafes serving food, and a new beach bar and seafood restaurant. Popular Seahouses is just over a mile away and has shops, a supermarket and restaurants, and it also offers boat trips from the harbour to the magnificent Farne Islands - a haven for bird watchers. Bamburgh is close by, whilst the market town of Alnwick with its Castle and Gardens, shops, pubs and restaurants is a short drive away. Golf, fishing and riding are also available locally.
