Beadnell Point Cottages

Two extraordinary holiday homes resting on the exclusive Beadnell Point park, this pair of stylish abodes can be found on the outskirts of Beadnell amidst the spectacular Northumberland Heritage Coastline. Together sleeping up to thirteen guests, the Beadnell Point Cottages offer an exceptional holiday stay for groups of friends or families seeking a fun-filled escape to the coast of Northumbria. The properties lie just a short stroll away from each other, with both offering spacious open-plan living areas accompanied by warming woodburning stoves, both making perfect spots to come together for a celebratory meal, with the option to dine alfresco in the private gardens too! You will also find ground-floor living in both of the properties, allowing for a flexible sleeping arrangement for those less able, letting you bring along the whole family on your memorable escape. The cottages are surrounded by lovely communal gardens, with a pond to spot wildlife in too and even two tennis courts on-site, while just a short stroll will bring you onto the beautiful Beadnell Bay where you can spend your time soaking up the sun, or for those seeking adventure you can find a range of watersporting opportunities including paragliding, surfing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, sailing, and scuba diving! Take a walk into the local village, leaving the car beside the property as Beadnell can only be accessed by foot from the site, and be met by a charming atmosphere and a range of fantastic amenities including all of a Post Office, a selection of pubs and restaurants, and a convenient village shop, hosting everything you could need for a self-catered stay. A short drive will bring you to the fishing village of Seahouses, where you will be delighted to find a wider selection of pubs and eateries, as well a supermarket for picking up the holiday essentials for a picnic by the sea. If you are visiting during the summer months, be sure to explore more of the glorious beaches on the coastline, where you will find a magnitude of pretty promenades, as well as opportunities for fishing and visiting the nature reserves of Farne Islands, Coquet Island and Druridge Bay. Alternatively, brush up on the local history by visiting the castles at the historic towns of Bamburgh, Cragside, and Alnwick, the Alnwick Garden being a particular marvel to be seen, or take a trip into the Northumberland National Park for walking routes and stunning scenery like no other. For the perfect stay in Northumberland, choose the Beadnell Point Cottages.

About the location

BEADNELL

Seahouses 1.5 miles; Bamburgh 5 miles.

This attractive and peaceful harbour village is situated beside one of the most beautiful stretches of Northumberland’s Heritage Coastline - Beadnell Bay. Established in Saxon times, Beadnell was once an important fishing village and a smuggler's haven. Nowadays, it is still a fishing village, but is equally popular with holidaymakers who come to enjoy its pretty harbour and, of course, the nearby sandy beaches. The village has a shop, two pubs and a café serving food. Popular Seahouses is just over a mile away and has shops, a supermarket and restaurants, and it also offers boat trips from the harbour to the magnificent Farne Islands - a haven for bird watchers. Bamburgh is close by, whilst the market town of Alnwick with its Castle and Gardens, shops, pubs and restaurants is a short drive away.
