  • "We really enjoyed our stay, the house is in a perfect location and has everything you could need."

The only minor issue to mention is that I found myself sneezing the whole weekend, I think it may be due to all of the fluffy pillows and throws, which likely hold a lot of dust. I can see the aesthetic in them but maybe less is more! Overall however, we found the house to be really lovely!

  • "Our second stay at Willow."

It’s a lovely house and in a great location for walking, cycling and generally exploring this superb area. The house is very clean, comfortable, quiet and very well equipped. The garden is spacious, quiet and a great place to sit out. Highly recommended indeed.

Thank you very much Simon!! I appreciate your feedback very much indeed. Hope to see you again. Property Owner

Nothing lacking for a home from home and the bonus of a great location.

  • "Fabulous! Willow is very possibly the best appointed holiday accommodation that we have ever stayed in."

Very well presented and equipped, no expense has been spared on fixtures and fittings, and Willow definitely has the 'wow' factor. Also a sizeable and private garden for additional relaxation. Situated in the lovely village of Beadnell, with a very nice local pub 5 minutes walk away, we also had the benefit of great weather! We had a fantastic time in Willow, will definitely return, and can recommend highly.

Thank you very much indeed for your kind comments. We’ve tried to consider all of your needs and comforts. It’s important to us. Hope you come back soon……. Property Owner

  • "Very nice cottage with everything we needed."

As others have said, the sofa is very low, so worth bearing in mind if you have any infirm guests in your party. But other than that, highly recommended.

Thank you very much. Hope you will return to Beadnell very soon. Property Owner

  • "What a wonderful property."

Very well equipped and beautifully furnished. As other guests have mentioned, the sofa is very low, which wasn’t ideal for our guests in their 80’s, but it was really nice to stretch out on and read a book! Location is fantastic, with plenty to see and places to eat within easy walking distance.

  • "Unfortunately we were quite disappointed overall."

We found the settee far too low and the beds weren't comfortable. We had to clean the glass top of the dining table and also the glass bowl containing shells, before we could enjoy eating at the table. We had to clean all the mugs as they were badly stained. The washing machine and oven needed a good clean as well. Perhaps other people wouldn't have been bothered by these things but as we paid about £1,000 for the week we think everything should have been pristine. On a lighter note the back garden was attractive to look at.

I’m so sorry to hear that the property was not as clean as you liked. However we have not had complaints in the past. It such a great shame as if you had informed NCCC they would have rectified it immediately.. Property Owner

Everything you need for a great holiday! A quiet location, but minutes from the beach, coastal paths and plenty to see and do locally and the surrounding area whether walking, cycling or sightseeing. Would definitely recommend!

  • "Had a great stay at Willow in Beadnall."

Very clean, lots of space, nice decor and fantastic garden which the kids enjoyed! The only downside really was the sofa was very low and difficult for older parents who were with us to get comfy on and up and down from. There is lots to do in the area. We had a great multi generation holiday! Thank you.

About the location

BEADNELL

Seahouses 1.5 miles; Bamburgh 5 miles.

This attractive and peaceful harbour village is situated beside one of the most beautiful stretches of Northumberland’s Heritage Coastline - Beadnell Bay. Established in Saxon times, Beadnell was once an important fishing village and a smuggler's haven. Nowadays, it is still a fishing village, but is equally popular with holidaymakers who come to enjoy its pretty harbour and, of course, the nearby sandy beaches. The village has a shop, two pubs and a café serving food. Popular Seahouses is just over a mile away and has shops, a supermarket and restaurants, and it also offers boat trips from the harbour to the magnificent Farne Islands - a haven for bird watchers. Bamburgh is close by, whilst the market town of Alnwick with its Castle and Gardens, shops, pubs and restaurants is a short drive away.
