  • "We’ve had a fantastic stay at the cottage!"

It was well presented and clean, and came with everything you need. The lounge was very cosy on an evening when we lit the fire! We would highly recommend this and would definitely return to stay again!

  • "Excellent accommodation, clean and well equipped."

Great outdoor space with a lovely outlook both front and back. Location perfect for exploring the area. Being so close to the rail track only added to our wonderful stay! Wouldn’t hesitate to book Holida Hoose in the future.

In an ideal location to explore the Northumberland coast line. We had a fabulous time and would definitely look to stay here again

  • "A lovely, clean, comfortable and well equipped cottage which is a great base for exploring Northumberland."

We would just recommend a few minor improvements/additions such as a radio and bread bin in the kitchen, a chest of drawers in the main bedroom and some soft lighting in the living room (e.g. a table lamp). We really enjoyed our stay here and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Holida Hoose.

  • "Holiday Hoose is absolutely lovely."

Very cosy and comfortable. A great location to explore for walking, cycling and sightseeing. We got used to the trains quite quickly. I quite enjoyed the novelty.

  • "The Cottage was excellent, plenty of room well equipped and comfortable."

The only comment I would make is about the description of it being a short walk to Belford. It’s a least a mile and you have to cross the A 1 to get there.

  • "The cottage was excellent in every aspect, ideal as a base for local points of interest such as Bamburgh Castle Lindisfarne etc."

The cottage is located just outside the village of Belford which is a car drive away, the village has a Co-Op store , 2 friendly pubs and an excellent chippy, there are no other takeaways in the area though. All in all a great place to stay and if you're into walking , good beaches and friendly people then Northumberland is a must !!

  • "What a beautiful cottage !"

Was very comfortable for a family of four + doggie : the decor is fantastic and the wood burners are must : they really make an evening. It could do with an airer to dry clothes inside if not so sunny out , a coffee maker of some sort and some drawers in the bedrooms , but other than that it is very comfortable and well equipped . It is right next to the east coast main line so trains are frequent and go on until around 11pm but they just didn’t bother us at all . Location for touring is excellent and we highly recommend the cottages there .

  • "Lovely well appointed cottage, couldn’t fault it ."

We used the log burner on a couple of chilly nights and that was a novelty for us. Easy access to A1 and surrounding area. Only downfall was the vibrations from the high speed trains but overall a good stay.

  • "Cottage was finished to a high standard , everything in the cottage you need for a relaxing break , the only drawback very close to a busy train track did not sleep very well ."

May not bother some people , but we are light sleepers . Overall we enjoyed our break .
