Only criticism would be that a bit more cleaning in certain areas is required otherwise perfect

  • "The conservatory door was hard to lock."

Apart from that, the house was very comfortable, spacious and nicely decorated. Good beds and bed linen. The garden furniture was lovely. Parking at the back of the property was a little difficult but we could’ve used the spot at the front.

  • "Great place to stay, very spacious and very well equipped."

Only negatives we had was it wasn’t the cleanest we have stayed in. The hoover that was there didn’t work. We were also asked how we would like the bed set up in the double room, we asked for 2 singles but on arrival it was set up as a double, however none of this would stop us from staying there again. Overall, an enjoyable holiday.

  • "As a party of six adults and two small dogs we were overall impressed with Muscle Shoals."

Very spacious and well equipped holiday house. Unfortunately microwave was not working over our stay and as I understand was to be fixed on day of our departure. Comfortable beds with lovely fresh linen and fluffy towels supplied. Nice patio area with comfortable furniture. Cosy conservatory with seating if too chilly to be outside. Muscle Shoals very central for shops and pubs close by. We very much enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future.

  • "The property was amazing."

We loved the house and there were different areas for family to play board games, sit and read or eat. We were a three generation family enjoying a lovely Easter break. We took advantage of the swimming pool access and took our seven year old granddaughter swimming twice when it was a wet day.

Thanks so much for your lovely review - we are so glad to hear that you enjoyed quality family time at our home. The membership for the pool and spa is really useful for wet weather days- we hope you come again. Property Owner

It was very cosy and comfortable. The bedding and towels were high quality. The location was fab as just a short stroll to the beach and the pub and the area was quiet. The house had great facilities and was well equipped. The conservatory got lots of sunshine in the afternoon which was lovely and it was great to have a designated parking space too. We will definitely be back!

Thanks for your lovely feedback- the conservatory is a lovely place to sit in the afternoon sun - we looking forward to you coming to stay again. Property Owner

This cottage couldn't have given us anymore than the owners have provided, we have just come back from Muscle Sholes from a week away with friends, the fishing harbour is literally a 2 minute walk away from the front door, lots of local pubs and shops to explore. This is a great location for the beach which stretches for miles and is only a 10 minute walk away. Anyone that chooses to stay here will not be disappointed we certainly weren't

Such a lovely review, thank you. Glad to hear you enjoyed staying at our property as much as we do. We hope you come back to stay again. Property Owner

  • "We found the property to be as we hoped for and the gifts left were lovely."

The location is superb with easy walking distance to Restaurants, Town, Harbour and beach walks. The kitchen/dining area is brilliant, but the seating for relaxing in the lounge was a bit of a struggle for 4 adults and 2 children. It is only a minor issue as there are enough seats but not positioned well if you want to watch TV in the evening. (for anyone thinking just move the seats, it is not possible due to design} Everything else was brilliant and the amount of crockery was unbelievable,,,,in a good way (lots of it) We would like to thank the owners as it does appear that they have thought out well what is required for their guests. We had a lovely week. Thank You

Thanks for your lovely feedback. We are sorry to hear that there were not enough seats available for you all in the lounge but glad to hear that everything else was comfortable for you. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your week's stay at our property and hope you return again. Property Owner

Beautiful house in a beautiful location. Will defo be back. Only issues we had were the upstairs toilet seat was broken and kept coming off and also the king Suze bed had not been made into a twin as requested. All in all a lovely weekend away!

Thanks for your feedback, great to have you back again! We are really sorry to hear the loo seat was broken for you, this has been resolved now but apologies it was not fixed during your stay. The bed should have been made up according to your request, if this happens again then please phone housekeeping services and the problem should be rectified immediately for you. The location is brilliant within walking distance of the harbour and shops. Lots of nice walks to do locally. The kitchen has everything you need but lacks utensils for dishing out a meal, loved the utility room! Very nice welcome pack on arrival too. We visited; Bamburgh Castle, National trust Craigside house, Holy Island with Billyshields boat trips and Alnwick gardens. Watching the sunset from the harbour is lovely too.

Such a lovely review thanks so much. Watching the sunset from the harbour is one of our favourite things to do in Seahouses, I’m glad to hear you enjoyed this too. Thanks for the feedback regarding serving utensils we can ensure we add some more Property Owner

A lovely, warm and comfortable property with interesting decor details. Ideally placed for visiting e.g. Bamburgh, Beadnell, Low Newton-by-the-Sea, Alnwick, Craster (crab sandwiches!) and Holy Island. We recommend just around the corner The Black Swan for food, cocktails and atmosphere. 5-10 mins away for the Co-op and for takeaways -Indian Brasserie and Seahouses Chinese takeaway. Also ideally placed for the seafront 5 mins away. At night, walk along the front by the caravan park for some amazing views of the stars, simply breath taking. We certainly recommend this property and would stay again.
