  • "The lodge is very conveniently placed in Tynemouth and being very close to the metro it is very easy to get around."

    The bed was very comfortable and the towels lovely and soft. The only issue we had was the noise from above which began early morning and was constant throughout the evening, we appreciate that the owners can't control this but it did mar our stay.

  • "A great place to stay."

    The location right by the Metro Station and close to the village makes getting about really easy. The new bathroom is lovely and makes a big difference. The flat has everything you need for a great stay.

  • "A really lovely and very well equipped ground floor apartment."

    Great location as very near the metro and centre of Tynemouth. There are lots of lovely cafes and shops in Tynemouth and the beaches are gorgeous. Only word of warning is that it is a ground floor flat and noise carries from the flat above.

  • "Lovely clean and well equipped property, great location for the Metro."

    Only downside was the bathroom which was tiny. Using the shower over the bath was not pleasant due to the shower curtains and a leaky hose.

  • "Lovely flat."

    Superb location. We've booked to go back. Only things I'd add are a few tuppaware ribs for storage to save cling film. Bathroom tiny but useable

    Thank you for leaving a review. We will get some Tupperware tubs when we are there next, I didn’t think of that as we always have some with us for sandwiches, it’s a good idea. The bathroom is indeed tiny, we plan to switch it to a shower room perhaps next winter so hopefully that will make the space less awkward. If you have more details on what could have been cleaner please let me know and I can pass this on to the team that do the cleaning and change overs.   • "Excellent accommodation in a perfect location very close to Tynemouth Metro centre."

    A short walk to the lovely village centre and beaches. The property was spotlessly clean. The accommodation well laid out. The beds very comfortable Bunk beds for 2 grandchildren ideal. Bathroom clean in good condition. However the step into bath to use the shower is high. People with limited mobility could find this a problem. We had a great holiday. The accommodation well equipped and of a high standard. Thank you so much. Angela and Steve.

  • "We really enjoyed our stay in Limpet Lodge."

    With easy access from convenient parking the flat was very clean, tastefully decorated and with comfortable beds and sofa.We had all the facilities needed for a great week. 5 minutes walk through the magnificent Tynemouth Station with it's craft beer bar and excellent Davanti restaurant and 5 minutes more to the busy High street, Castle, Priory and two lovely beaches. We will definitely be back.
