  • "A magnificent house with sea views."

Well equipped and comfortable. Although the shared bathroom does not have a traditional shower, it dies have an extendable integral shower head, so no problem. It is in close proximity to an excellent hotel restaurant and bar and two great pubs. Great place.

  • "We had a very enjoyable family holiday at No6 Sea Lane."

It is a very attractive property, both inside and out; and is clean, spacious and well furnished. The bedrooms are all large and the beds are comfortable, and there was plenty of downstairs space to accommodate all 3 generations of the family . The location is excellent, with stunning views over the fields towards Dunstanburgh Castle and the sea. The lane leads to a beautiful sandy beach which the grandchildren loved, and access to the coastal path. Embleton is a lovely village with an impressive farm shop, a nice hotel, 2 pubs, a well equipped children’s playground and even a nature reserve. The owner was very helpful and always responded promptly, and I have no hesitation in recommending No6 Sea Lane.

  • "A very spacious, well furnished, comfortable property and we loved it."

There is a large lounge/open plan kitchen which leads into a separate dining room. All the bedrooms are large- two have en-suites - with comfortable beds and the bathroom is enormous!! The house is located at the top of the road leading to Embleton beach and every room has far reaching views of the sea and coastline from Dunstanburgh Castle to Low Newton. The village has a good grocery/farm shop/post office and a cosy pub serving good meals (booking advised). There are so many places to visit in the area and, if you don't want to take your car, there is a good bus service (note that public car park charges can be quite expensive). We really enjoyed our stay at No. 6 Sea Lane and have no hesitation in recommending it.

  • "A very comfortable and spacious property."

Location is excellent, looking out over fields and across to the sea with views of Dunstanburgh Castle. A lovely beach is a few minutes walk down the lane with the local golf club open to the public for coffees and snacks. The house was clean with spacious bedrooms and comfortable beds. Two of the bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms which are small but perfectly practical with good showers. The kitchen is large and well-stocked and there is a comfy living room and a separate large dining room. Situated in a lovely quiet village with a hotel, pub and also an excellent village shop.

Embleton was a perfect location for seeing some of the beast beaches we have ever walked upon, the wild life was exceptional and we saw the most amazing selection of birds.
