“Thank you. A lovely restful week at The Coach House, which we were fortunate enough to fit in before the 2nd national lockdown.”

The house is well equipped, very comfortable with an excellent heating system. We didn’t use the wood burner but can imagine on a cold winters day it would be lovely and cosy. A good stock of logs had been left to be used. The downstairs shower was very efficient. A bonus was a lovely basket of local goodies which had been left for us, all of which were available at the well stocked village shop which also sold delicious sausage rolls. The Coach House owner was away at the time of our visit ...

The Coach House owner was away at the time of our visit but had left us an email address in case we needed anything. The local pub was a 2 mins walk and looked very inviting however we didn’t go in because we were staying away from other people where possible. Next time we shall certainly eat in there. Lowick is a small and very pretty village but the larger costal areas of Lindisfarne, Bamburgh and Seahouses are only a short drive away. In the summer months the Farne Islands can also be easily reached. We look forward to booking again once the travel restrictions have been lifted.
