"Lovely little cottage."
Welcome pack was lovely. Bedding was fantastic however the cutlery was seriously dreadful. Needs upgraded asap. The enclosed garden was great especially with a dog however the garden furniture needs repaired and requires some love and attention. Outdoor cushions would also be a bonus as would a new parasol and stand. The indoors is a five star (cutlery aside) however outdoors is a four star.

"Lovely stay in a spotlessly clean cosy cottage"

"Lovely village, very quiet."
Early morning wake up each day by the donkeys in nearby field which I loved (but others may not). Kitchen very well equipped and great welcome pack and quantity of logs for the fire. Garden was great and contained for the dogs. Only thing that needs changing is the left hand side mattress in the twin room. Very uncomfortable and needs replacing. Otherwise an excellent stay and would come back.

"A lovely cottage in the village of Lucker ."
The cottage is a good base for exploring the area . Bamburgh is only four miles away . The village pub is about 5mins walk . For food shopping we went to Belford coop there is also one in Seahouses.

"Cottage was like home from home."
-
"The cottage was lovely and the garden absolutely 100% dog friendly even for my small dog."
Lovely area and the local pub has fantastic food. The only improvement would be the opportunity of a double bed/ two singles for the smaller room rather than completely separate beds and to have 8 rather than 6 of cutlery/plates/ glasses/mugs but overall a wonderful holiday cottage

"Fabulous cottage!"
Fantastic welcome package thank you! Lovely touches include nice garden furniture front and back and lovely flower tubs and baskets - great value for money. Fab pub a stones throw away. Handy for Bamborough Seahouses etc yet so peaceful in the village of Lucker.would highly recommend.

"There had been a significant spill of heating oil some time before we arrived and the smell filled the cottage."
When the wind was from the west it was close to unbearable. The treatment being used by the maintenance men was clearly making no difference. We had several nights where sleep was difficult because the smell was overpowering. At no point did a senior manager make contact, nor were we offered alternative accommodation or any compensation. We didn't feel we were being taken seriously. We paid £2,200 for two weeks but never again with this company.

"Our party thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chaffinch Cottage, this was a special trip for my elderly mother to return to her roots and this was the perfect base."
The ground staff were very helpful when we had an issue with heating in one of the bedrooms/en-suit. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

It is situated in the hamlet of Lucker village has its own spa/beauty salon/gym/pool which you can use at a reduced rate.my daughter had a manicure which was superb. It also has two fabulous eateries the apple inn which serves a variety of food and The Apple Core which is an Italian Resturant. Both are exceptional. Great Holiday.
