  • "Wonderful property, beautifully equipped and maintained."

Great, secure, fenced-in grounds - very dog friendly. Comprehensive and professional information available about the property, services and surrounding area. Excellent response to minor maintenance issue - all staff met were lovely, helpful and polite. The Apple is a lovely place for food - had both breakfast and dinner and also dog friendly. Lots of different types of accommodation available in the village from Shepherds huts to large houses, all owned by the same family-run group so high standards are maintained. Excellent location, great for exploring this beautiful part of the country. If I had to pick one issue it would be that the village misses having some sort of shop where you could get newspapers, milk, bread etc. As the food in the pub is locally sourced, I’m sure suppliers would be happy to sell their quality products. That said, already planning return visit with family!

  • "Overall, we were pleased with cottage."

Location was quiet and relaxing. However, there were a few issues which we feel the property owner can easily rectify. • Weeds in the rear garden, in gravel! (I did remove some whilst I was there, and swept the gravel back into its original place) • Need a chair in both of the bedrooms • Door mat needed by patio door in living room • Frying pan was in poor condition (this was rectified on the 1st evening, thank you) For the cost of the holiday, we feel that the cottage should have been perfect.

  • "Great little place."

ideal for a family holiday with good food available at the Apple inn and access to the reasonably priced spa. Also a very good location to the coast. Staff were very helpful & pleasant. Would recommend this to anyone.

  • "Great cottage."

Ideal for me, my sister and Eric, my shitzu, who loved the outside area. Equipped with all you need and well worth paying extra for a hot tub. Nearby swimming pool and spa added extra luxury and free passes very much appreciated. Not problem was lack of bus route as car problems on our journey meant we were without a car when we got there.

  • "We loved staying here, everything in the property was of a very high spec from the decor to the kitchen utilities."

The Bbd was very comfy with excellent bedding and pillows. The bathroom facilities are great. It is in a lovely quiet area. My favourite thing was the log burning stove! Also a nice touch that the fire is made ready to use on arrival. We had the stove going every night.
