  • "This accommodation in our opinion is first class."

    We found it to be very clean, comfortable and the kitchen facilities were brilliant. It was tastefully decorated and there was a lot of attention to detail. The garden was perfect for sitting out in the afternoon sunshine and the bungalow is in a very quiet location. All in all it was a perfect holiday there and was well positioned to visit locations up and down the coast. Thank you to the owners of this property and thank you for the bottle of wine as well, much appreciated.

  • "A very nice medium sized bungalow which was well maintained."

    The only issue was the on-suite shower which was rather small but if there is not the space there is little that can be done.

  • "This is a lovely, well equipped cottage in a quiet location."

    It is in a good location for travelling in Northumberland and has a couple of bars/hotels in the village. Whilst there is only one shop, it is a great farm shop selling a good range of food. We would definitely go back.

    It suited us; In it's location . Catering needs, equipment etc were if good quality and felt new. Comfortable beds and sitting areas Everything we needed was provided, a home from home! An added bonus was watching the birds roosting in the eves as we sat in the garden .

  • "Excellent location for a holiday."

    The bungalow lies within easy reach of Seahouses, Alnwick, etc. and has everything you could wish to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. It is nice and clean and presented in good condition throughout. There are a couple of pubs in the village and a 20 minute walk gets you to the gorgeous golf course and beach from which you can walk on to the ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle.

  • "A clean , comfortable and well appointed property."

    The crockery and kitchen utensils are of a high standard as are the towels and bed linen. It can easily accommodate 6 people.We were 4 and it was an excellent base for our Northumberland Coastal Path walk.

  • "A lovely, bright and well equipped bungalow."

    The milk, wine and biscuits were very welcoming.We stayed for a fortnight and met the housekeeper who was very helpful and friendly. The garden is a nice spot to sit in with comfortable seats but it badly needs weeding.

    Furnishings and decor to a high standard and super clean and fresh. Smack bang in the middle of the Northumberland coast so perfect for a base. Would recommend.

Settled in the idyllic village of Embleton, Northumberland, is this wonderful three-bedroom bungalow, 6 Westview.

Enjoying a superb location on the outskirts of the Northumberland Coast AONB, and just a short drive away from the beach, 6 Westview is a fantastic choice for couples, friends and families.

The property benefits from two off-road parking spaces and a lovely, enclosed garden with patio and furniture, ideal for enjoying those balmier evenings.

Make your way through to the well-equipped kitchen, where you can whip up family favourites, ready to enjoy at the dining table for six over a celebratory bottle of fizz.

After dinner, retire to the plush sofas to enjoy a movie night on the Smart TV with your loved ones.

Continue through to find a well-appointed bathroom, where you can freshen up under the overhead shower or enjoy a soak in the bath with your favourite book.

When your eyes start to grow heavy, choose from three tastefully decorated bedrooms, a king-size with en-suite shower room, a double, and a twin.

Wander through the village, where you can treat your loved ones to a meal at The Grey’s Inn and the Blue Bell, stock up on essentials at the convenience store, enjoy wildlife rich walks through the Embleton Quarry Nature Reserve, test out your swing at the Dunstanburgh Castle Golf Course, or visit the stunning Embleton Bay for a day along the coast.

Continue onto Craster, where you can enjoy leisurely strolls along the harbour, embark on a hike on the Dunstanburgh Castle Walk or the Northumberland Coastal Path, and tuck-in to fresh seafood at The Jolly Fisherman Inn.

Further afield, you can visit Alnwick, home to Hulne Park, the Bailiffgate Museum, the picturesque Alnwick Gardens, The Alnwick Playhouse, and a fantastic selection of pubs, cafes, and restaurants.

The pretty village of Embleton is ideally placed for exploring one of the most attractive stretches of Northumberland's Heritage Coastline. A beautiful grassy path runs from the village to neighbouring Craster, alongside the sea and past Dunstanburgh Castle - the largest ruined castle in Northumberland. Embleton itself has a village pub and a local hotel, and there is an excellent range of amenities in nearby Alnwick. The gardens at nearby Howick Hall are open during the summer and are noted for their beauty, whilst Alnwick Castle and Garden are a 'must-see' when visiting the area. For the keen golfer, Dunstanburgh Links Course is about 1 mile away - just one of several excellent courses in the vicinity.
