  • "Lovely Lovely cottage."

.. matching plates, mugs and glasses would have been nice! And the keysafe would have been better on the back door! But I would certainly stay again ! Very cosy and a great location. Thank you

  • "Great based for our 5 day holiday with all the facilities we needed."

Comfy beds, two toilets and everything we needed in the kitchen. A quick walk to the sea and off road parking. The dog felt very at home too and it was great to have a stair gate to keep him downstairs. We would highly recommend staying in this cottage.

  • "Lovely cottage."

Plenty of space. Went with a little dog and a 10 month old. Room to set up a playpen in the lounge and a cot in the bedroom. I can't think of anything that we were missing. Welcome cleaning and tea and biscuits pack a lovely touch. Two minutes from town centre and all the facilities Would definitely use this cottage when visiting Seahouses in the future.

thank you for the lovely feedback we really appreciate it as it's our first time renting. Property Owner

  • "We ( a couple) totally enjoyed our stay at Kennie cottage."

We love Seahouses and the surrounding areas and have just stayed there 2 weeks prior, in a different property with our grandchildren. It was very well supplied with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We would definitely return for another weekend stay or even longer. Just the two of us, the lack of a garden or outdoor space to the rear is limiting in our opinion.(we were aware of this before booking) Although it is a busy little street, being close to the centre of seahouses it was very quiet and no noise from adjoining properties Our only gripe was the parking. It stated in the listing off street parking for one vehicle. The space allocated is very small. We took our larger car and couldn’t fit in the gap reserved. Luckily after talking to other holiday makers and a resident they kindly moved along to allow us the space. Sykes should definitely have this noted in the description of the property. One of the other holiday makers who was in a property in the same row had scratched their car, as the lane at the back is very tight! Other people we had spoken to said they had been told by their booking agent to reverse in! The front of the property is double yellow lines! Would it stop us from returning- no as it is very comfortable, homely and convenient. It is very reasonably priced as well. We would just take our smaller car and this time we would be aware of the parking from the start It is something to be aware of however.
