  • "Very nice, comfortable, well equiaxed property."

Greta for access to a the facilities in Seahouses with 2 beaches in walking distance and also lots of others a short drive away. Great encased garden for the dog which is important. We are staying again in March next year and looking forward to it. The only thing I would change would be the benches at the kitchen table were very awkward to move and sit at with 2 people and would have been even more difficult with 6. I think chairs would be more practical and comfortable.

Glad that you had a nice stay and that you have booked again for next year. We would agree with you about the benches. They came with the house. However we are hoping to change one of them at some point for chairs. We find pulling it away from the wall helps when we have 6 round it. Property Owner

The facilities were excellent and the rear garden was certainly dog safe with good solid fencing all round so no fears of our bog “wandering off”. 5 minutes from the coastal path made dog walking a true joy. Will definitely revisit.

  • "My family and I recently returned from a 5-day stay at San Souci Seahouses, and it was absolutely perfect."

We stayed as a family of 5, including our dog Luna, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The house itself is beautifully decorated, with every detail carefully thought out by the owners. The upstairs bedrooms have walk-in wardrobes, and the downstairs bathroom even has a magnifier on the mirror. The kitchen is well-equipped with added extras, and the lounge features the comfiest couch we've ever had the pleasure of sitting on. The little welcome basket was a lovely gesture, Luna loved her ball for the beach -thank you. In terms of location, the house is just a short walk away from several charming little pubs where we enjoyed delicious lunches and dinners. The Coop, where we could get our essential groceries, was also just a few minutes away. Additionally, the harbour, where we discovered the most amazing donuts, was only a 5-minute walk from the house. And within a 10 minute walk, we found ourselves on the most picturesque beaches we've ever seen. Overall, this little hideaway was perfect for our family, and we can't wait to return in the future.

The property itself is well furnished and was spotless. Four of us stayed with two Jack Russell’s and we had a fantastic time. 2mins walk to the shops and some lovely pubs and only 5mins to the beech. The coastline is stunning! If you enjoy walking the coastal walks in this area and second to none!

To say our friends were impressed on our choice was an understatement the accommodation was beautifully decorated and very modern and clean with everything we needed. The basket of goodies was really appreciated and a very special touch. The accommodation was central and it was great that we had parking spaces to use as Seahouses does get very congested . Would definitely return . There was only one minor thing in that the grass had not been cut and I had to clean down the garden furniture but that did not detract from our wonderful stay . Thank you again for making our weekend so special

Glad to hear you had a great weekend celebrating. Sorry that the gardener wasn’t able to cut the grass prior to your stay. They have been battling the weather unfortunately. We will look to get a cover for the garden furniture to protect it from the elements. Property Owner

Could not fault this property at all. Unbelievably well equipped compared to anything else we have been to. There is everything you need for a day at the beach (even bucket and spade). There is nothing you will need for the kitchen, plenty of books and games for the wet days. The property is minutes from Seahouses and positioned in the middle of Beadnell and Bamburgh. We will definately be back.

We were all impressed with Sans Souci, it truly is a 5 star property. It was absolutely pristine, the beds were extremely comfortable with quality linens and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need . The living space is perfect for families or groups of friends and being able to access the utility room from the rear garden made it easy to keep everything clean after long walks on the beach . The jar of gravy bones for the dog was a nice touch. The house is ideally placed to walk to the beach, the golf course and several of the coastal paths. The Black Swan, a very nice dog friendly gastro pub is only 5 mins walk as are the shops. Scots, the local butcher, sell high quality meats and their sausages are fantastic. Rebecca and Richard, the owners of Sans Souci contacted us by phone on our arrival to check everything was ok and were contactable should we have needed anything. We will definitely be back .

  • "This is a beautiful holiday let tucked away in the heart of Seahouses."

There is private parking directly outside the property for 2 cars . The garden is fully enclosed which if you have 2 little dogs like we do is a big plus & can be hard to find . The property was lovely & warm on arrival & most importantly spotlessly clean. It can be tricky to find dog friendly properties that don’t have any signs that there have been dogs there , but Sans Souci definitely comes through on this . We visited in the week before Christmas & the tree / decorations were a nice surprise. The kitchen is spacious & well equipped, leading on to the enclosed garden. The lounge is very comfortable with a large corner sofa . All 3 bedrooms have excellent storage, especially the 2 upstairs which have walk in wardrobes. Lovely thick fluffy towels , and crisp white sheets . The welcome pack was incredible, and contained local produce including jam , chutneys & free range eggs . Excellent coffee machine with plenty of pods . Another plus which can be overlooked, is we didn’t arrive to overflowing bins , with a request to ‘put them out ‘ etc. They were discreetly taken care of whilst we were there . Sans Souci is definitely one of the best holiday lets we have stayed in , & we would 100% recommend.

The house is really well appointed, warm and comfortable and we felt very relaxed. It's also in a great location with easy parking and a two minute walk to the shops, cafés and other attractions. We walked to the beach most days, which is only a ten minute walk at most. Seahouses has a range of places to eat out, including fish and chips, Italian and Indian restaurants and a choice of pubs.
