  • "We had a fantastic stay at Healey Farm Cottage, it’s even better than the pictures-so cosy and comfy with amazing views, great to come back to after a soggy day out!"

Janice and her family were great hosts, even unpacking our shopping delivery when we were held up. So many lovely thoughtful touches in the cottage, we really loved our holiday, thank you!

  • "We had a fabulous week at Healey Farm Cottage."

Visiting in November, we made sure we took plenty of fleeces and warm clothes. We didn't need them, the weather couldn't have been better!! The cottage was immaculately clean, everything provided for, even logs for the fire which we didn't light as the cottage was warm and cosy enough without it. Plenty of room to move around, comfy bed, views to die for, skies that go on for ever. I honestly can-not praise it highly enough. The owner (Janice) is friendly, and always available for a chat, and the dogs love an ear scratch or two! We would love to go back.

The cottage was excellent. The views were brilliant. It was really good that you can go walking from the house. We could not have wished for a better place.

It is spotlessly clean and well - maintained. Janice the owner couldn't be more helpful. The location is perfect for all that Northumberland has to offer.

A lovely, warm welcome, a beautiful cottage in a perfect location for visiting local attractions. We have never stayed anywhere as peaceful and with such amazing views. We loved it so much we booked another stay for next year while we were still there.

  • "Well what can we say."

Perfect location, perfect cottage and above all perfect hosts both human and canine! This is probably the best cottage we have stayed in (and we stayed in many!). Its so well equipped it is like home from home. Cosy when we arrived but then perfect when the sun came and we could spend many happy hours in the garden admiring the view. Spoilt for choice for places to visit. Most importantly we have re-booked for next year! Thank you Janice and family.

  • "We usually holiday in Cornwall but this stay has definitely changed our minds about Northumberland."

From the welcome of our host to the location of the cottage we could not have asked for more. After tearing ourselves from the view we spent six wonderful days exploring the wall, the villages and the beaches of Northumberland. And every evening we looked forward to getting back to the cottage and the view.

  • "Amazing break in such a perfect little cottage."

Stunning views from a beautiful cottage. Janice was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The cottage had everything we needed as a family of 4 and was spacious, comfortable and spotless. Beautiful area to stay with lots of things to do either on the doorstep or not too far away. We were very sad to leave and will hopefully be back again one day. Would highly recommend.

The welcome pack was very appreciative. If you want total piece and quite this place is ideal, the views are fantastic. Just a couple of areas, require a touch of TLC. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

  • "We loved staying at Healey Farm Cottage and Janice, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and friendly."

She went above and beyond to buy a paddling pool for our 3 year daughter as the weather was extremely hot. We will definitely be back, it was refreshing to stay at a cottage without gadgets and the ubiquitous hot tub.

  • "The 5 hour traffic laden journey was almost immediately forgotten on seeing the amazing views from this delightful cottage."

Lovely to be welcomed by the owner and to know Janice was nearby and contactable should we have needed anything. The cottage was clean and comfortable with a super sized main bedroom again with views I'd love to wake up to every day! We do hope to return to Healey Farm Cottage.

  • "Janice was a lovely host and the welcome pack provided in the cottage was generous and extremely well received as we had arrived without milk for that all important first cuppa."

The cottage was in good order but we all struggled with the sofas as they were quite soft and low which made it difficult to get out of them. However the panoramic views from this cottage were the reason I had booked and they did not dissapoint, stunning and ever changing as the light and conditions changed. We loved watching the birds darting about and enjoyed our visits from the farm's dogs. I enjoyed sitting out in the lovely little garden to paint and drink in the scenery.

From the moment we booked until the moment we left it was fantastic. Janice (the owner) was so helpful, friendly & lovely. The cottage itself had everything you needed and is extremely comfortable, clean & homely. We love that Healey Cottage is on a working farm and the family dogs were so adorable and friendly. Our 6 & almost 2 year old loved them so much….and we got to meet two day old lambs - thank you Gus! We will definitely be back! 5 Stars all the way from us xx
