  • "The cottage was well presented and very clean."

It felt very much like home and we wished we’d booked a longer stay. The boiler problem was fixed within 30 minutes of notifying the agents, thanks to the engineer who arrived like “superman” from Beadnell Bay. I would highly recommend this cottage.

Thanks so much! Glad you felt at home, which is always our hope :0) Property Owner

Maybe a bit more crockery would be necessary if a larger family were staying there. Really loved it.

  • "We loved the cottage, it was comfortable and spacious."

Beds were comfy, plenty of towels. It was in a perfect location and good to have its own parking. The welcome basket was lovely. The outside space was good with variety of seating to catch the sun. We really could have done with spare toilet rolls and dishwasher tablets; there weren't enough of either for a family of four for a week. We would also have liked some basic cleaning products. Overall a brilliant holiday and we would return.

Many thanks for your lovely comments. So pleased you loved Anchor and had such a great holiday! Looking forward to welcoming you back another time :0) Property Owner

So glad you had another lovely holiday at Anchor! Thanks for bringing these points to my attention. Main bathroom refurb is planned for this winter so downstairs tap being replaced then too. Comfy beds - lovely towels. Thank you for the generous hamper! Stayed in Beadnell last year but this was excellent will recommend. Handy for everything in Seahouses and easy to visit surrounding areas. Fergus felt at home as he can be anxious away from home. (Would recommend Morris & Plumley in Alnwick if you require a Vet - we had to take Fergus and they were so nice!)

Delightful property, quiet, cosy yet spacious and amazingly comfortable beds. Was lovely that the house was warm on arrival. We enjoyed the log fire and playing some of the many games. So nice that hairdryers were available for each room - a must for the teens/young adults to get ready. Beautiful Sunday lunch at the Craster Arms and great food at the Bamburgh Castle Inn (both dog friendly.) Will definitely return.
