  • "Just had a great week at Cuddy’s Holm, it was in a central spot in Seahouses, bonus to have a dedicated secure parking spot."

    The apartment was spotlessly clean with everything to feel like a home from home. Beds really comfy and a spacious walk-in shower. Echo dot a bonus to make it easy to listen to radio or music of your choice. I would definately recommend a stay at Cuddy’s Holm.

  • "This was our third visit to Cuddy's Holme as it suits our needs perfectly."

    The Viking is in the centre of the village with secure parking which is an added benefit. The apartment is well equipped and well maintained. It is very warm and comfortable - and very quiet which aids a good night's sleep after long walks on the beaches!

  • "A beautiful, attractively decorated and very private property right by the harbour and centre of Seahouses but still very quiet."

    Large comfortable beds, and a fantastic shower. There is a lift to the second floor which is great when moving in/out. A problem I had with a blocked sink was dealt with quickly and I was kept up to date on progress. Staff in the office were polite, friendly and helpful.

  • "Spotless and well equipped."

    A very nicely furnished, cosy apartment. I particularly appreciated that the owners have now fitted a handrail in the step-in shower which is a huge help to people like me with some mobility issues. Dedicated, secure parking is a bonus. The owner was very helpful.

  • "Excellent location, all facilities in easy walking distance, and the beach is not much further away."

    It's a short stroll to the pier where you can take various boat trips. I cannot fault the thought put into the contents of this apartment. Decent knives, wooden spoons, a sieve, spare batteries - everything we needed was at hand. I was disappointed that the apartment itself did not have a sea view - but it didn't detract from the holiday and I would happily come back again.

    This was our 3rd visit and we were really impressed to find that the bathrooms have been given a makeover - really nicely done. We like it here so much that we have already booked our stay for next year !!

  • "Very cosy, bright and well-equipped apartment with the bonus of dedicated parking."

    Decorated and fitted to a high standard. Found beds and sofas comfortable. It was suitable for all three generations of us. Two bathrooms was ideal. Provision of two keys is helpful. A handrail I the shower to help stepping up & down would greatly benefit those of us with some mobility issues. We already have another holiday booked here.

  • "This was probably the accommodation that we have enjoyed most of all the holiday lets we have taken recently, and that includes quite a large selection."

    Cuddy's Holm is really nicely designed and built - the first time we have stayed in an apartment we would be happy to live in! Quiet, warm, cosy and comfortable with a nice light and open feel. Also in a great location in a lovely part of the country - although it was low season, Seahouses was open for business and the weather was good enough to enjoy the fabulous beaches and countryside. You may ask, why would we not recommend - well, we wouldn't recommend anything to anyone - it doesn't seem a sensible thing to be doing.

  • "This is a very comfortable flat and well placed in Seahouses."

    The zip link bed would benefit from a mattress topper to even out the join, other than that everything really good. I think the bathrooms have had a recent upgrade and the second shower over the bath is a good idea.

A beautifully furnished seaside apartment settled into second floor of The Viking in central Seahouses, Northumberland, Cuddy’s Holme is ideal for a family or group of adults looking to explore the local coast and countryside.

Be welcomed into this stylish second-floor apartment, where you will be able to put your feet up after a long journey in the sitting/dining room in one of the stylish sofas, and there is a fantastic balcony accessible through the glass doors, allowing for morning coffee with a view and filling the room behind with natural light, and there is also a dining table.

When mealtimes call, a contemporary kitchen offers a range of home-from-home amenities in a well fitted space, ideal for cooking a heart-warming meal from local produce.

Two bedrooms can be found throughout the apartment, beginning with a super-king-size with a TV, DVD player and a handy en-suite, and there is also the option of a second super-king-size, as well as a family shower room.

A bustling, pretty fishing village with an attractive harbour, situated on the beautiful Northumbrian coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Seahouses offers a variety of shops and a good selection of inns, pubs and eating places. Nearby are miles and miles of splendid sandy beaches and the opportunity to visit the bird sanctuary or seal colony on the famous Farne Islands with boat trips running daily from Seahouses, is not to be missed. There are numerous castles and great houses to explore, such as the magnificent castles at Bamburgh, Cragside, and Alnwick (home of the Duke of Northumberland), to mention just a few. Golf, fishing and riding are also available locally.
