A fantastic alternative space for chilling out is the snug where you will find loads of seating and a really relaxing vibe, perfect for socialising together or spending some much needed ‘me-time’.
Outside, there are delightful gardens ideal for soaking up any Northumberland sunshine and there is even a cool roof terrace with plenty of seating just waiting for you to sit back, relax and breathe in some rejuvenating sea air.
When it’s time for bed, choose from three super-king-sizes all with TVs so you don’t need to miss any telly, and all superbly presented.
These are rooms that wouldn’t look out of place in the chicest of boutique hotels.
Right in the centre of Seahouses, the property is in the ideal setting for exploring the delights of the region with the stunning beaches of the Northumberland Heritage Coast close by.
The delightful fishing village of Seahouses has its own harbour and is located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The village of Bamburgh is well worth a visit too, famous for its imposing castle but which also has a good selection of shops and amenities.
Close by there are miles of sandy beaches to explore and boat trips run daily from Seahouses to Farne islands where you can look out for birds and seals.
Further afield there are magnificent castles to discover such as Dunstanburgh, Warkworth, Lindisfarne and Cragside, with towns such as the historic market town of Alnwick; Alnmouth known for its excellent golf course; and the farming hamlet of Howick which is known for being the birthplace of Earl Grey tea.

We have never been more torn on a review for a cottage like this.
We loved the quirkiness of the house and it was so well equipped and clean. It was in a perfect location in lovely Seahouses. However there was quite an odour of damp in one of the lounges. The sofas in both seating areas were old and quite uncomfortable. The style added to the overall feel of the home but they were really past their best. Would we stay again? No. But address those small issues and absolutely we would as its a lovely home from home with such potential.
As soon as we entered this property we realised that we'd struck Gold .
The Quirkiness of it was obvious straight away. This property is so comfortable from the two sitting rooms to the bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and there's everything you could want /need in the kitchen. It was like a home from home but with a difference. The main thing was the comfort of it all and I'm pretty sure that we'll be back .
Spacious, comfortable, clean, everything you could possibly need in the kitchen.
Lovely garden with plenty of sitting areas. Bonus of a roof terrace with comfortable chairs. Amazing selection of books of all types. Parking and parking permits for car parks. Everything you need for a perfect holiday.
