With the on-site facilities including a shop, laundry, communal showers, and more, as well as walking and cycling trial directly from site through Sherwood Forest, this group makes a wonderful base from which to explore Nottinghamshire. Be welcomed onto a site surrounded by woodlands and choose between a geodome, deluxe ensuite pods, family pods or cosy pods, with each offering welcoming sleeping areas and an open-plan living space with a kitchenette, and some of the wooden pods also benefit from the ambiance of an eco-log burning fire, with pet-friendly options. On site there are modern and spacious shared bathrooms and shower rooms, with separate large family and accessible bathrooms. A laundry room for all of your muddy clothes as well as secure airdrying lockers to dry out your towels and coats, or just store valuables. The campsite shop offers a fresh coffee station amongst other daily essential, and the children's play area will keep the little ones entertained for hours. You will also find an EV charging station, bike wash and service area and a dog wash. The local area houses an abundance of attractions for guests to explore, including RSPB Sherwood Forest, The Major Oak, and Rufford Abbey, as well as local gold courses and a selection of shops and pubs in Kings Clipstone, Edwinstowe and Mansfield. Throughout the local area there is an abundance of walks, cycling routes, and golf courses, and the Peak District National Park is within reach, offering many more scenic strolls.
