As you step inside this warm and restful home, be sure to admire the character and charm of the exposed beams that line the ceilings, before turning on the sleek electric fire and snuggle up to loved ones on one of the cheerful yellow sofas as you scan the Smart TV for all of your favourite shows.
Climb the pretty stone steps up to the kitchen/diner where you prepare many delicious meals with the help of the handy electric oven and hob, for all to indulge in as you gather around the table and delight in a tasty bottle of wine.

Back indoors, a gorgeous super-king-size bedroom served by a bright and contemporary shower room completes the ground floor.

Lovely accommodation without fault and a carport for the car too!
!
This is our fourth time at Dovecote.
It’s quiet and well equipped. The owners are nearby if needed. Good pub meals within 5 miles. Close to Lincoln and the Bomber Command Memorial. Well worth a visit
Great accommodation, peaceful and quiet, with light and roomy kitchen/dining areas and sitting room.
Flowers on the dining table and a pint of milk in the fridge were a great addition. Everything was well presented, clean and fresh. The kitchen is well equipped and plenty of storage, and although the integrated fridge was small, it a has freezer box. It was good to have opening windows looking across the owners garden, and the stable door leads to the private courtyard where there are a few flowering planters. It was nice sitting in the sunshine and watching the barn swallows and other birds overhead. The large windows in the sitting room face onto the driveway and fields. There are plenty of sockets in the sitting room and kitchen areas, for plugging in a phone charger (tip: take a 3 pin plug adapter as there aren't USB sockets). Bath/shower rooms were good, with nice big towels. We found the bed comfy and cupboards and dressers had plenty of storage (we also found the owner had provided a hair dryer). Covered parking for 2 cars as per the photo, with each side large enough for mid-size SUV. There’s cycle racks too. Overall it’s a great place to stay, plenty of places to visit and good road networks. We’d recommend staying here.
