It was a beautiful and comfortable cottage with thoughtful detail.

The beds were comfortable, my only comment being that the second bed would be very small for two people.

There were 2 of us, and we found the property to be well restored and in a nice quiet village with off road parking beside the property.

Although the property is advertised as being small with low ceilings etc, we did find the upstairs area to be a bit challenging especially the bathroom which is extremely small and not good for tall people. One final thing to mention would be the mattresses in both bedrooms. These were lumpy and too soft. The downstairs area was comfortable although the staircase may be challenging for older guests.

We had a dreamy stay at Auld Cottage - what a gorgeous space!

It was the perfect home from home and we felt relaxed as soon as we arrived at the cottage. Norwell is such a peaceful little village and we would return! Lorna was a fantastic host and nothing was too much trouble for her.
