Resting between Banbury to the north and Bicester to the south, the quaint town of Deddington in Oxfordshire lies just east of the magnificent Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Historically a market town, with monthly markets still held in the centre of the settlement, Deddington is best known as being one of three locations, along with Hempton and Clifton, that reside on the ridge the Jurassic ferruginous marlstone hills between the River Cherwell, River Swere, and the Sowbrook.
