  • "Just adored this place, it had everything I needed for a comfortable, relaxing stay."

    The walk to Aber Falls is a must however be aware that dogs need to be on leads as there is a lot of sheep on the walk up. The cottage itself was immaculate and very well equipped, my only (very small) niggle would be slightly larger bath towels, but everything else was just perfect. There's a large parking space which was vital as the road can get quite busy with people going up to the falls. The garden was just lovely, I had two small (very inquisitive) sausage dogs with me and it was completely secure which meant I could relax without worrying about them getting out. I was able to arrange a Tesco delivery for my arrival which was very useful, the Tesco itself is only in Bangor but it meant I could relax as soon as I arrived. Its also worth mentioning that Deliveroo deliver to the cottage for groceries etc which again is very handy to know! Overall a very relaxing stay, I've booked again for Feb and am really looking forward to getting the gas fire going to cosy up to in the evening! Thank you Lex for letting me stay in your beautifully renovated cottage, all of your communication was really appreciated!

  • "We spent 3 wonderful nights in Lex’s cottage with our three sausage dogs and couldn't have loved it more."

    The cottage beautifully balances a 200-year-old historic charm with all the modern comforts you could need. Everything worked perfectly—which is incredibly important to us—but it still retained a warm, cozy, and characterful feel rather than being rigidly modern. ​Lex’s communication was beyond excellent; it was unexpected in the best way possible. She provided us with endless fantastic tips, advice, and local suggestions that made our stay even better. The location is also spot-on—peaceful and remote within a small village, yet incredibly convenient for the local town and the A55. We highly recommend this gem!

  • "We had a wonderful 4 nights stay at Old Chapel House recently."

    Property has been beautifully restored, was spotlessly clean & contained everything we needed. Garden was secure for our little old terrier which meant she could have a wander without me worrying about her escaping! Location wise, being literally a few mins drive from the A55 means you’re able to quickly travel to all the local towns & attractions without having to access the main road via miles of tiny lanes. We would love to return as there’s still so much we wanted to see! I recommend walking from the property to Aber Falls (about 1hr walk) as it was definitely worth it

    Nice sized main bedroom with a small well equipped kitchen and perfect sized lounge, with a very comfy couch. Good clean modern bathroom. And perfect sized garden for the dogs to run around and enjoy.

  • "What an absolute beautiful cottage, couldn't have asked for more."

    Immaculate accommodation, wonderful fenced in garden for your furry friend, if you are to take one. Lovely touches, like a welcome pack left for us, snacks, tea bags, coffees, fresh milk in the fridge. We had Sky TV to watch of an evening infront of a lovely warm fire. I would absolutely 100% recommend this beautiful cottage to anyone.

Llanfairfechan is a small seaside resort on the lovely North Wales coast, and is referred to as “where the mountains touch the sea.” The little town, with easy access to the North Wales Coast Path and cycle way, is renowned for its miles of sandy beach, bird sanctuary and walks to suit all ages and abilities, including the famous Terrace Walk providing stunning views over the Conwy Estuary, Puffin Island and Anglesey. Nearby is Conwy, a World Heritage Site famous for its historical and architectural heritage including its magnificent 13th century castle. The town is proud of its historic traditions and celebrates its past by retaining many of these in its annual festivals, events and fairs including the Honey Fair, Seed Fair and Gwledd Conwy Feast in October along with other musical events throughout the year. For an action-packed, adventure-fuelled holiday, there is a mountain bike centre at Betws-y-Coed, just over a half-hour drive away, plus Zip World Velocity, the longest zip wire in the northern hemisphere, less than a 20-minute drive away in Bethesda, closer still is Surf Snowdonia, just 7.5 miles away. Llanfairfechan is a perfect base for exploring the dramatic Snowdonia National Park, walking unspoilt sandy beaches, enjoying Victorian Llandudno or taking in the wonderful scenery on the doorstep.
