Reviews & Ratings

1 Customer Review

  • "Overall we were happy with our stay as we spent the majority of our time away from the accommodation."

The accommodation was comfortable with everything we needed. On the whole the accommodation was clean other than burnt food left on one of the frying pans. The one star rating is relation to location and general maintenance. Location; the accommodation to the rear backed onto a plant hire company, We were repeatedly woken by reversing alarms to rear side and front of the barn which would start as early as 7am. I did forward a video to illustrate this after being woken again early for the 3rd time Thursday morning taken from our bedroom, the owner when asked directly by yourselves re concerns only mentioned possibility of fencing work prior to our arrival. The irritating noise disturbance would carry on into the early evening. The description is at best misleading. “Situated by Afon mawddach river…..Countryside aura……..Window framed countryside views”. The property was separated from the river by an industrial estate then the main A470 I wouldn’t describe this as by the river! Or giving a ‘countryside aura’ equally 50% the Window framed views where of the plant hire business! Maintenance, the was a broken outside light to the front of the property with broken glass and possibly still live the fact in was at the height a small child could have put there fingers in posed a serious health a safety issue. All the patio chairs need replacing the fabric was starting to give way in fact one of the chairs had given way prior to our arrival so it the had been four of us all four wouldn’t have been able to sit down. As such I would not recommend your services but would reluctantly book again through your site as we have previously had good experience with yourselves. However lesson learnt to do thorough research prior to booking in future the accuracy of listing descriptions can not be relied upon.
