  • "This was very nice and comfortable, it was not like other cottages we've stayed in."

    We had a lovely week, only problem we had was smell of dogs in the conservatory and we were plagued with flies all week, we could not get rid of them. Been honest I think it was overpriced

  • "This is the 3rd time we've stayed at Goetra and it won't be the last."

    Some of the furniture/structure is a little old and worn, but it's such a nice place to stay I couldn't give it less than 5 stars. The only real problem is having to leave at the end of the week

  • "What a lovely place to stay!"

    The view is beautiful, hearing the sea from the bedroom was pure bliss, and the master bed and conservatory sofa are incredibly comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped, and as a pet owner, the welcome treats were such a thoughtful gesture (even if my three cats had to pass on the dog treats!). The filled ice tray during the heatwave was also a life-saver. A few minor suggestions to match the premium price point: Master Wardrobe: The sliding doors are quite stiff and tricky to maneuver, so an upgrade here would make a big difference. Threshold Strip: The threshold strip (door sill) between the kitchen and living room has sharp bits sticking through the gaffer tape, which is a hazard for bare feet. Waste & Recycling: Clearer instructions on recycling collection days would be very helpful. The green bin was nearly full upon arrival and one of the stackable bins seemed missing, so a quick refresher on the setup would be great. Overall, it’s a wonderful, pet-friendly spot, and I’m leaving with fantastic memories of North Wales!

  • "A really excellent property, equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay."

  • "We had a great stay at Goetra."

    The owners were very helpful and even gave us a fan to help with the hot weather. The property did get a bit hot but we were fine. It did seem a bit smaller than the photos particularly the garden and you can only see the sea from the conservatory due to bushes blocking the view. We would book Goetra again.

  • "My third time staying at goetra cottage very comfortable & clean & catered everything for all our needs & ideal for my dad & dog as no stairs."

  • "Had a nice, quiet and relaxing break."

    The views are tremendous and we managed to get out every day between the showers. One or two bits are a little bit tired and could do with repairing, but nothing significant that detracted from our holiday. Certainly would not rule out coming again.

  • "We have stayed in the area many times and Llandanwg beach has always been a favourite spot to visit."

    Goetra is one of the nicest properties we have stayed in, it is exceptionally clean and well-equipped. Ideal location, being just a few minutes walk to the beach and estuary. It was a pleasure to meet Kate, the property manager, who lives next door and was on hand should we have needed anything. Our dogs loved the garden and the warmth of the conservatory. Gorgeous views and sunsets. We would stay here again.

  • "Not our first visit to Goetra; and it won't be the last."

    Comfortable; warm; well equipped facilities; stunning views of the sky and sea from the conservatory. Two minutes walk to the station for the Cambrian Coastal Line; and only a few minutes walk to the beach. Mountains inland; and sunsets over the sea. The perfect spot.

    Please visit the Victoria Inn which is just 5 mins drive from the property the food is 5 star.

Goetra is a delightful bungalow situated on a peaceful, private caravan park, in the small seaside hamlet of Llandanwg, 1.5 miles from Harlech.

North Wales' coast and mountains are two of its most valuable assets, and you can enjoy both of them from this charming place.

Situated in a magnificent position between the mountains and the sea, the delightful small town of Harlech is dominated by its majestic 13th century castle. Harlech Castle is recognised as the most impressive of all those built in North Wales by Edward I and has World Heritage status. The town is very popular with golfers, who come to enjoy the famous Royal St. Davids course, whilst the beautiful sandy beach is wonderful for family fun and long walks. Harlech offers an excellent variety of amenities including some good quality restaurants, whilst the whole of the Snowdonia National Park, together with the sandy beaches of Cardigan Bay, are all within easy reach.
