Egerton Cottage

We had a lovely stay at the cottage.

It is in a beautiful location but close enough to home for us Mancs that we could get their easily for a relaxing weekend. Stephanie was a helpful and friendly host and we enjoyed the hot tub, local works and pubs. The cottage was beautiful with everything we needed. Thank you.

It is in such a beautiful location, Stephanie was lovely. We loved the hot tub and the lemon cake on arrival was delicious. We went to the white lion pub nearby which was lovely too. I would definitely recommend staying here, and will definitely be booking again in the future. Thank you for such a lovely few days away!

Beautiful cottage, great village location, all furniture and facilities immaculate.

Home made cakes on arrival. Lots of great dog walks to be found and pubs with great food and garden areas. Stephanie very welcoming and friendly but not intrusive. Highly recommend, maybe outside seating area could be a bit bigger as four people and two dogs a little cramped. Hot tub immaculate and clean. Would love to return.

The place was beautiful, clean and matched the pictures on the website. The hot tub was so enjoyable and the owner Stephanie was so polite and friendly. The welcome muffins were delicious, thank you! We will surely come back!!

Our stay at egerton cottage was very enjoyable.

It was comfortable and warm with a relaxing hot tub. There was ample parking and a delicious lemon drizzle cake awaiting us on arrival. Stephanie was lovely and ready to help should there be anything we needed to make our stay a pleasant one. The Hand and Trumpet pub was dog friendly although the food was good but not memorable. We would certainly not hesitate to book egerton cottage again.

What a beautiful cottage.

We had the most amazing stay. Stephanie cannot do enough for you goes above and beyond and always ensures she is there for anything we may need and ensured the hot tub was always maintained. The cottage is modern spacious and absolutely everything you may need! Beautiful little touches like fresh baked cakes and dog treats there on arrival. Close to shops but far enough to feel like you are in your own little piece of heaven. Gorgeous pub and views in a lovely village. Do not hesitate to book this cottage we had the most amazing new year break. I left some coats behind and Stephanie has gone out her way to ensure I got these back! Wonderful host. Thank you so much for letting us stay at your beautiful property. We will definitely be back again.

Had a fantastic weekend at Egerton Cottage.

Lovely cottage and would definitely return. Beautiful kitchen, excellent hot tub and 2 nice pubs on the doorstep. Spot on for a lazy weekend with lovely pub grub nearby. But if you are of a more energetic disposition, it was a really nice area for walking etc.

Egerton Cottage is absolutely stunning.

Stephanie was a diamond from the moment I booked up until we got home. The cottage had everything we needed in a beautiful location with 2 amazing local pubs both within walking distance. It probably has the best shower I've ever used which was appreciated after a chilly afternoon in the hot tub. We had a trip out to Waterworld which is only 20 minutes away and is fantastic. Will not hesitate visiting again soon. 10/10 from me.

Disappointed no secure fencing for the dog and privacy an issue whilst in hot tub.

Me, my husband and our 2 dogs stayed at the cottage Fri-mon and we had a fabulous time.

The cottage is beautiful and well equipped. The surroundings are also gorgeous. We met Stephanie and her family and they are all lovely and friendly. My brother lives not far so it was nice to meet up with them. We are definitely going to be back as we would like to go back to Trentham gardens at Christmas time. Thank you for having us Stephanie your place is gorgeous

We Had a lovely stay at edgerton cottage.

The owner provided lovely cakes on arrival. Very peaceful with beautiful surroundings. The cottage was very clean, with everything provided you needed for your stay. Any questions or concerns the owner was very helpful. We took our little one to monkey forest which was about 20min drive. Was really good experience with outdoor activities. The hot tub was lovely to relax in , especially if you had been for walk. There is quite a few lovely pubs if you would like to eat out. We would definitely book to stay here again

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful, clean, and modern cottage.

The small enclosed outdoor area was perfect for our dogs, and the hot tub was a real treat for the adults. The hosts, who live on-site, were friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to accommodate us. They kindly provided fans during the hot weather and even installed a secure gate to stop the dogs from going upstairs, which we really appreciated. One thing that would have made the stay even better is some guidance on local walks or brochures for things to do in the area. As we weren’t familiar with the location, we found ourselves relying heavily on past guest reviews and Google, which only gets you so far. Having a bit more local insight would have helped us make the most of our time there. That said, it was a comfortable and relaxing stay, and we’d happily recommend it for those looking for a peaceful break.

We have just returned from our 2 night stay at Egerton Cottage and had the most wonderful weekend.

The cottage is incredibly beautiful and modern. Everywhere was lovely and clean on the inside and out. The location is perfect for nice walks out or to visit local pubs for food and drinks with nearby pubs a few minutes walk from the cottage. My partner is a big golfer and there are lots of good courses to visit close by as-well, which he enjoyed a game at Onnely Golf Course, an 8 minute drive from the stay. We really appreciated all the thought that was put into the stay by the owners, such as, notes left for us with local walks, nearest shops, instructions for all appliances and hot tubs etc, and even had takeaway flyers in there which I thought was a nice touch. Anything you could thing of… it’s probably on the notes which we found really helpful! We even had some gorgeous home made muffins waiting for us on arrival… stunning!! We had gorgeous soft fresh towels left out for us and they provided all cutlery, utensils and plates etc so we didn’t need to worry about bringing anything with us. Stephanie is a great help and super friendly, we had texted her with a few questions and within minutes she had popped over to us and helped us out straight away! Very attentive and catering which was appreciated, she made us feel very comfortable to text or call if we needed anything at all. Overall, we are very impressed with our stay from start to finish and can’t wait to book this place again for another weekend away ☺️ Thank you so much!

Property was lovley and clean and as described on the website, very reasonably priced too.

We stayed here for 2 nights in May, what a beautiful place to stay.

The property was very clean and tidy, on arrive there was a lemon cake which was a lovely surprise. The property is within walking distance of pubs to eat if you fancied a meal out. Hot tub was lovely to relax in after a full day out exploring. This a property we would love to come and stay again. Thank you for letting us stay, hopefully see you soon x
