  • "A fantastic find!"

Stayed over New Year and the cottage is exactly as described and more! The place was absolutely spotless, the kitchen very well stocked, furnishings extremely comfortable and a lovely welcome basket from Dave and Izzy including a well received bottle of Prosecco! The little things catered for - separate hot tub towels - coffee pods for the nespresso machine- fire-lighters, sticks and logs for the log burner. Hot tub is great and maintained daily by the host. Very private space and a wonderful location for exploring Chester, Delamere Forest, North Wales and beyond. Already booked a return visit and would highly recommend this fabulous property!

Thanks for your feedback Craig, we are glad that you enjoyed your stay and look forward to you coming back in May. Property Owner

Set within enclosed gates, the private area has access to a hot tub and an indoor heated swimming pool, this single-storey abode is perfect for couples looking to spend a weekend in Cheshire.

After a day of exploring, the open-plan living space is the perfect place to unwind as you catch up on your favourite shows.

Cross over to the kitchen and cook up a storm, to be enjoyed at the dining table or alfresco style from the patio furniture on the south-facing patio.

While away the hours in the indoor swimming pool, which is available to use from May through to September.

Wash away the day in the bathroom, choosing between a bath or shower over, before retiring to the king-size bedroom.

Wander into the village centre to find a convenience store and a welcoming pub, The White Barn, where you can enjoy a hearty meal and selection of ales.

From here you can also access the nearby train station just 500 metres away, which is on the Manchester to Chester line and provides access to the lovely towns of Delamere, Knutsford and Altrincham.

Keen golfers can tee off the Sandiway Golf Club, whilst those seeking an adventure can visit Go Ape Delamere and climb the forest canopy.

Delamere Forest is perfect for a stroll amongst the wildlife whilst the little further afield lies the city of Chester, home to the iconic Roman walls, a wealth of shops, eateries and historic sites such as the Amphitheatre.

Wander along the River Dee, spend the day at Chester Zoo or if your break aligns, savour a day at the races at Chester Racecourse.

Further afield attractions include the National Trust property of Tatton Park and the glorious North Wales beaches, or for a change of scenery, escape to the bustling cities of Liverpool and Manchester.
