We enjoyed our stay in Quayside Apartment, Nantwich.
The setting is quite tranquil even though it is in a working marina. The apartment was clean and well equipped and the staff were very friendly. We enjoyed walks along the canal towpath and it is a relatively short walk into Nantwich, which is a lovely town. Really the only negative was a low water pressure but this didn't impact our enjoyment of our break. A very pleasurable stay in a lovely apartment and the onsite cafe was a lovely bonus.
On first impression the place looked great.
It was only once we'd unpacked that the properties flaws started to become apparent. Everything was very basic and definitely minimalistic. With 2 young children 1 of which is autistic, having good Internet service so they can watch familiar shows is essential. Unfortunately most days and nights we had ongoing issues with weak wifi signal. The beds in the room set up with the 2 singles were horrendously uncomfortable (way to soft providing no support what so ever) the quality of the bedding was good and the pillows were also good. Bathroom was fine no issues, however the kitchen, blunt knives, no frying pan, no basic essential condiments and cleaning equipment i didn't expect to have to buy salt & pepper, surface sprays and cleaners etc when I did the shopping. I feel that all these are very simple basic areas that if addressed the property would create a lovely place to stay. 1 other small thing I would make the welcome pack a bit more welcoming. (Local biscuits or something like that to say welcome to cheshire)
