Description

Grimsditch Dairy is a contemporary converted barn, set in the picturesque village of Mobberley, Cheshire.

A stylish and sociable abode, this property is ideal for couples or groups of four, seeking a memorable stay in the Cheshire countryside.

Place your bags in the hallway as you make your way into the spacious open-plan living space.

Gather snacks from the kitted out kitchen and reconvene on the sofas to catch-up on your favourite series or get lost in a blockbuster movie.

If you're planning to spend the evening indoors, fill your boots as you feast at the dining table and share entertaining stories over a nice bottle of wine.

Make yourself at home as you unpack your belongings into the storage provided within your chosen room for the week.

An airy double bedroom, decorated with stunning neutral tones and bright white furniture, creates a relaxing ambiance for winding down at the end of the night.

The second of the bedrooms is a snug twin bedroom, featuring ample storage and can be transformed to host a super-king-size bed upon request.

Freshen up in the morning with a rejuvenating shower in the chic bathroom, or kick start a quiet night in with a soak in the tub as you admire the gorgeous feature window and high ceilings.

When the sun is shining and the weather is glorious, dine alfresco at the outdoor seating.

Mobberley itself is home to plenty of pubs including the Roebuck Inn and the Bulls Head which are within 100 metres of the cottage.

The Railway Pub in the village is excellent for children with a "Railway Children" menu and outdoor play area.

Spend the day exploring the beautiful landscapes of Tatton Park, before wining and dining closer to home in The Church Inn, an 18th century pub where you can feast by candlelight in this historic building.

Hop on a train from Mobberly station and visit the vibrant city of Manchester where you can tour the grounds of famous football clubs like Old Trafford and The Etihad, explore the many museums and galleries, try out the quirky eateries in the Northern Quarter, or head to the Trafford Centre for an amazing shopping experience.

For a great day out take a trip to the Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre and Observatory with plenty to enjoy.

Further afield are the towns of Buxton and Bakewell with it's array of shops and restaurants plus excellent walking opportunities in the stunning Peak District National Park.

For day trips why not take a trip to the town of Altrincham with it's amazing food and eating areas in the market or even Wilmslow and Alderley Edge.

On slow summer afternoons, take in a local cricket match at the Mobberly Cricket Club where you can enjoy refreshments, or for aviation enthusiasts visit the Runway Visitor Park at Manchester Airport offering runway views, tours of a Concorde and other aircrafts, within easy driving distance.

Live unforgettable moments at Grimsditch Dairy.

This is a lovely cottage that is very well maintained (everything worked as it should) spotlessly clean and well equipped with quality fixtures and fittings.

It was geographically well positioned for exploring the lovely county of Cheshire and we have no hesitation to recommending it to others. Thank you also to Pauline and David for the hamper, most welcome whena arriving after a long drive.
