"Very clean."
Perfect for us (2 adults and two young children). Accommodation is well presented and maintained. Extras were superb.
Only thing that needed to be better was the temperature of the hot water, which was not quite hot enough for a bath. Otherwise, excellent.

"The bungalow was lovely, there were some nice little touches that we hadn’t experienced before, i."
E. condiments, kitchen towel, toilet paper and toiletries. The gift pack was great too. The drive has a steep incline that we didn’t notice in the photos. Most of the local roads are very narrow and hilly. The local shop is very good. I opened the blinds one morning to see a fox walking down the hill from the castle. We had a very enjoyable Christmas . Thank you to our hosts.

"A stunning property with the most amazing views."
Definitely a home from home with everything you could possibly need. Beds are extremely comfortable and the rain shower is fabulous.
I spent 5 weeks here whilst I was in between properties and was sorry to leave.
If you are looking for a fabulous place to stay to explore the area then I would wholeheartedly recommend Belle Vue.

"Belle Vue is a stunning cottage, beautifully furnished and equipped with everything you need (and more) for your holiday."
The owners had stocked the fridge with essentials and had also provided a wonderful welcome pack including wine, chocolates and crisps. The information folders were comprehensive allowing you to settle in quickly and have a trouble free stay. I cannot recommend this venue highly enough - the 5 star rating doesn't do it justice, definitely luxury break.

"We really enjoyed Belle Vue."
The property is spacious and nicely fitted out. There is a lot of space throughout and plenty of storage space - you won't need hangars either because there are loads. Also, it is very well situated for the gritstone trail which passes along a track to the side of the property. Out of the front you can just about see Mo Cop folly which is no more than a 100 yards away and just around the corner at the back of the property is The Old Man of Mo. There are great views of the Cheshire plain although just a little spoiled by the Heras fencing around a nearby property undergoing building work but I guess that is temporary.
There were two pubs on the map within walking distance. The nearest was the Mo Cop but be aware that this seems to have closed with the appearance of permanent rather than temporary. So you might want to check if you plan to visit. Just a little further away is the Ash Inn which is really great. The bar isn't that big and gets very noisy but everyone is very friendly. You can eat in the bar but if you want peace and quiet there is a restaurant with table service in a separate room. The food is really good with plenty of choice.
Just be aware that it is a good 15 to 20 minutes walk back up the hill to Belle Vue.

"A very comfortable and spotlessly clean accommodation, very well equipped ."
Lovely views surround this property with some good walks on the doorstep. Mow cop castle ruins are situated opposite where you can see for miles . A very comprehensive welcome pack is included which is a nice touch . The beds are clean and comfortable along with the other furnishings . The smart TV was a welcome addition on the day that it rained . We plan to return .

"The location was stunning and the house was really nice and clean."
Majority of people would be fine there, but we all have disabilities in the form of major back issues and the beds, settee and chairs were not greatly supportive or comfortable. We would go again, but these things would have to be upgraded before we could. But it was gorgeous in every other way.

"This is a lovely property, really comfortable and absolutely immaculate."
It is beautifully furnished and had so many little extras provided (toiletries, soap powder, dishwasher tabs, tea towels, washing up liquid etc) as well as a great welcome hamper on arrival. The views are incredible and well worth the drive up the rather steep road to get there.

"Beautiful bungalow."
Lovely welcome gift including toiletries in the bathroom and other goodies. Sofa was a little uncomfortable to sit on but the leather chairs in the dining room were very comfortable. Unfortunately the local pub was closed. Walked up Mow Cop castle and recommend visiting Trentham County Park. Will love to come back to this bungalow another time.

A well equipped kitchen, comfy bed and great shower. A lot of extras supplied.
Fabulous views and lovely local walks. A couple of nice meals at the Ash Inn a short walk away. The village is quite hilly and we were fortunate to be there for the “Killer Mile” aptly named! We really enjoyed our stay, thank you for the excellent welcome pack.

Fantastic views from the kitchen diner, you can see Jodrell Bank on a clear day. Mow Cop Castle is just a very short walk from the house where you can get spectacular 360 views.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the cottage to others.

"A really lovely house and so clean ."
Everything was provided to make it a very comfortable stay . All cleaning products were provided whis is such a bonus we usually take our own as a lot of houses leave none .
Lovely welcome goodies were left for us which was most kind .
5 stars all round from us highly recommend this lovely house . Sadly our weather was very grey and we couldn't enjoy the scenery which was a shame as the views are lovely . Plenty to do in the area . Thoroughly enjoyed our stay .

Mooi huisje. Een deel van het huis is aangebouwd, niet warm te krijgen! De aanbouw was zo koud. Extra dekens waren fijn geweest. Prachtige ruime badkamer en fijne bedden.

"We had a fantastic week in Belle Vue in mid October."
The owners have a wonderful property which was very cosy and well furnished. We loved the littles extras they left in their generous welcome pack too. They thought of everything - even left new toothbrushes and toothpaste! I have mobility problems and the property was ideal. We were able to park in the driveway and I had no trouble negotiating the couple of tiny steps at the front door. The laminate floors made getting around the spacious rooms easy and the view from the back of the house is stunning. Lots to do too within an hours drive of the property if you aren't a walker. A big "Thank You" from Helen and Stephen in Edinburgh.

Very deceptive from the outside but was very tastefully presented.I cannot fault it.We have stayed in several cottages and I think this was the best yet.Very steep roads as the bungalow was 1500ft above sea level. The welcome pack was of exceptional quality.Need to bear in mind the very steep hills, nearby 25%,if you intend walking.well worth it..
