Fully equipped kichen with washer dishwasher and even airfryer. Lovely little private garden to relax . Would highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at The Hare and couldn't have asked for a better start to our holiday.

We received a lovely welcome from the owner, Matt, along with some thoughtful treats waiting for us on arrival, which was a really nice touch. The accommodation was perfect—spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, and equipped with everything we needed. It was clear that every detail had been carefully considered to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The location was ideal, with wonderful walks straight from the cottage along the canal to the local pub and the café by the marina. It was also a great base for exploring the area, with Chester Zoo, Chester, and Cheshire Oaks all within easy reach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already considering returning again very soon. We would highly recommend The Hare to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-located getaway.

Very comfy and well-furnished accommodation with the Shropshire Union canal at the far end of the drive.

Ideally located for visiting family and re-visiting old haunts in the area, also for visiting attractions in the wider area.

We had a lovely stay, everything was set up perfectly for our short break.

Welcome pack of bread, pastries and cakes was really appreciated. Accommodation was clean and well maintained and decorated nicely. Definite recommend.

Very helpful owners, nothing too much trouble. EV charging point a deal breaker for us. The cottage was on the cool side due to the cold weather, the owner overrode the timing when we explained. Well equipped kitchen with everything needed, even an air fryer. Comfy bed & great shower. We didn’t find the sofa & dinning chairs comfy! Great quiet location & ideal for exploring.
