With nearby village pub in a small village on the outskirts of Derby, adjacent to Elvaston Castle Country Park.

It offers a well equipped base for families or small groups looking to explore Derbyshire and beyond.

The living/dining room provides a cosy space to unwind, complete with a woodburning stove and TV, ideal for evenings in after a day of sightseeing.

The kitchen is well-appointed with an electric oven and hob, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, dishwasher, fridge with ice box, and washing machine—perfect for preparing meals and keeping on top of laundry during longer stays.

Upstairs, guests will find three bedrooms: two singles and a king-size, offering flexible sleeping arrangements for up to four guests, there is also a shower room with walk in shower, basin and WC.

There is central heating throughout with optional under floor heating in the lounge, while WiFi keeps everyone connected.

Outside, a small decked patio with furniture provides a pleasant spot for morning coffee or evening drinks.

Parking is available for one car alongside the boundary fence adjacent to the garages, a highchair and travel cot are provided for those travelling with little ones.

Carsington Water 13 miles; Matlock 18 miles.

Renowned for its friendly citizens, Derby is the UK's most central city. With a full programme of festivals and events throughout the year you are always spoilt for choice. Magnificent views down the gorge can be enjoyed from the cable car which takes visitors up to the Heights of Abraham – a great place for all the family with its showcaves, nature trail and water gardens. A little further north is the market town of Bakewell and the world renowned Chatsworth House and Gardens, a lavish stately home with noted art collection plus a playground and farmyard in the lush grounds.
