  • "We absolutely loved it."

.. Peaceful, superb surroundings, excellent staff. We would go back tomorrow... The only issue is you can't book it 'well in advance' it is last minute.com due to the weddings which are held at the venue which use the same properties. Thoroughly recommend it if you like peace & quiet.

  • "The cottage is beautifully furnished in a lovely location with fabulous gardens to be enjoyed and explored."

Lakeside cottage doesn’t face onto the lake but that view can be accessed by a short walk around the building. A very special find.

  • "We were there for work, so coming home from a hard day on site to a lovely, cosy comfortable cottage in beautiful surroundings was a real boost."

There was plenty of room, the beds were really comfy, the showers were great and the bath was sheer luxury. It was a joy to walk round the lakes and gardens and unwind. We will definitely try to book this property when we return

  • "We had a lovely time at the cottage."

The property is well kept and in great condition. We were very happy with our stay. We didn’t use the lounge by the front door but when the guests checked in on the Friday, they were incredibly loud. We shut the door and the door to the kitchen and couldn’t hear them, but this could affect other guests.

Beautiful setting in a fantastic cottage, everything was spotless and to an incredibly high standard, only think that is not shown in the photos are a series of small log cabins that surround one side of the property but these are not currently rented so not an issue
