The house was beautifully decorated and very clean. Hot tub was a fantastic bonus to the rental and garden lights set it all off perfectly. Hosts were wonderful. Would most definitely return.

  • "Bob and his family were such great hosts, respected our privacy and need to recharge our batteries, whilst being very approachable and friendly."

Such a GREAT property - spacious bathroom, cosy kitchen-lounge with a welcoming fire for an autumn evening sipping hot choc. Lovely terraced area (all created by Bob using his considerable skills and great taste) and... the hot-tub! The best one we've experienced yet, with beautiful lights built in and surrounding the private area that Bob put up, creating a lovely atmosphere around the tub and patio. It's got good parking and Kirkby is such a well-placed base for exploring Derbyshire, as well as local Nottinghamshire, of course. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome and creating a beautiful setting for a break away.

Lots of extra touches which made us feel really looked after and welcome. Spotlessly clean and with a wonderful hot tub (great for relaxing after a busy day). A lovely warm welcome from the hosts which we greatly appreciated.

  • "We received a very warm welcome from the owners when we arrived and were shown around the immaculately kept property."

We were then left to relax and enjoy the spotlessly clean cottage and everything it had to offer. Our reason for staying was to get away and to just relax and do very little and we achieved that perfectly here. The hot tub was amazing. Thank you for making our stay exactly what we were looking for.
