This property is perfect for a family or a group of friends looking for a getaway as it is close to several amenities, accepts pets and is close to the Peak District National Park.
Step foot into your new holiday abode after using the two off-road parking spaces.
On your right is the sitting room with two neatly presented sofas for you to sink into as you turn on holiday mode.
Turn on the Smart TV to find something entertaining to watch for everyone as you unwind and settle in.
Once you feel like a bite to eat, enter the kitchen and dining area to cook up a storm.
Sit around the dining table or head outside for alfresco-style dining as the sun beams down on you.
Polish your meal off with a little drink or two to watch the sunset golden up your eyeline as the sky slowly transitions from day to night.
If a yawn comes out of nowhere, head back inside and upstairs to call it a night with two double beds or a single on offer.
After a rest, start a new day with a refreshing shower ahead of more joyous activities.
A shop and a pub are both close by any essentials or a meal out.
Venture out and about to see the Mansfield Museum for some hands-on exhibits, go to Maun Valley Park for a scenic trail or let the little ones meet a wide range of animals at White Post Farm.
In Chesterfield, visit the fantastic Bolsover Castle, take a tranquil stroll through the Holmebrook Valley Country Park or find the perfect picnic spot in Graves Park whilst taking the dog for a walk.
The Peak District National Park had plenty to do for another amazing day out.

the house is nice but not suitable for us we choose to leave 3 days into the stay mainly due to the road noise and steps leading out from rear and then down into garden we had a blind dog and this become a problem .
plus rear shed which has a gap where a window should have been ,and shed door not being able to close as fixed by a tree and black bags which dogs could climb onto we also found beds very soft which i know is a personal thing , parking is a pain but this has been said before by others . the house is clean and tidy garden good size but area and steps didnt suit us .
Nice on the inside but rather "rough and ready" on the outside.
The off-street parking is difficult to access in other than a small car, due to a large tree and a telegraph pole. The lack of a proper dropped kerb does not help. On-street parking is available, but our car was covered in tree sap and bird droppings. Other little niggles detracted from our stay: the beds were too soft for our liking; the presence of internal security cameras was a concern (especially with lots of reports of hidden cameras in Airbnb properties; a non-slip mat in the shower would be nice and a tea-towel or two. We had to buy some - not every meal justifies using the dishwasher - least of all breakfast on departure day. Some lighting at the back of the property would be useful, especially when supervising the dog during an evening toilet run. The fairly extensive tourist info folder had quite a few out of date leaflets, and some info on when to put out the bins would be helpful.
Lovely house, perfectly located in the town of Mansfield, close to all amenities.
The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had all we needed. The property itself is beautifully and tastefully decorated. The owner, Rich, was very helpful and answered any queries promptly. Just up the motorway is the Designer Outlet and Nottingham is a short car ride, or bus trip away. There are many places to visit well within distance and lots of lovely spots to take your pooch for a walk if needed. We have already booked in again.
