  • "We were absolutely delighted with our stay in your beautiful home and we appreciated the welcome hamper."

It was extremely comfortable and in the perfect location we feel sure we will return. Our only comment would be all the little notes on doors, cupboards etc as we are able to work out how to open doors and locate items like the fridge etc, all these notes took away the home from home experience i imagine the owners are looking for. This was our only negative comment and we hope not to cause offence.

Thank you so much for your great and honest review. I am so glad you found the property extremely comfortable and a perfect location. I am also pleased you would return. I am sorry you didn’t like the little labels. I try and make our guests stay as easy and enjoyable as possible and find most people appreciate the labels and had favourable reviews. I have found the double doors to be an issue with broken handles etc and found the labels have cured this. Your comments have not caused offence and it is always good to have a critical review. Hope you can return soon. Property Owner

Very clean and comfortable with everything you need and plenty of space. Located in a great village which has three pubs and two shops. Superb walks around the Bradford and Lathkill dales straight from the property.

What a fantastic review. I am so pleased it was one of the best you have stayed in. Thank you. I do hope you can return. Property Owner

Nice comfortable property exceptionally clean and tidy only thing I would have different is putting all the notes left around the property in one book instead of being scattered around all over

Thankyou for your great review. I am so pleased you found it a nice comfortable property, exceptionally clean and tidy. I decided to leave a laminated note in each bedroom to remind our guests on the last day to remove used bedding into the bags provided. We found this works well, I put the Wi-Fi code in each room so our guests can easily get connected. Sorry if you would do this different. I hope you find time to return. Property Owner

  • "Loved Rozel and would happily return."

Very spacious and light for five of us. Very well placed for days out. Only a couple of small niggles, the dishwasher needs cleaning as the smell of everything that went through it was awful, and lack of tv channels, we like to go out during the day and chill out and watch telly at night, but very limited channels. I would definitely recommend this house to anybody thinking of visiting.

  • "Excellent accomodation - very clean, great location and facilities."

Lots of suitable space for dirty boots, etc and everything was very new. Spare towels and sheets provided for second week which was very appreciated. Third bedroom is very small and accessed via restricted headroom so really only suitable for children but it didn't bother us too much as we had the bonus of a last minute (adult) daughter on our trip. Only downside was that we just could not work out how to turn off the upstairs towel rail - it made the well-insulated bedroom too hot for a summer night!

Thankyou for your honest review. I am so pleased you found it an excellent, very clean property and looked like new. The 3rd bedroom is a bunk bedroom. We thought it would be great for any of the guests’ children. Adults do stop in the bunk bedroom and have had no problems. Regarding the upstairs bathroom there is also a radiator behind the bathroom door that is linked with the towel rail that may have needed turning down also. All our radiators have thermostat valves so you can regulate the heat. Please do stop with us again Property Owner

  • "The accommodation was spotlessly clean on arrival, which we found easily following the instructions."

The bungalow was well placed on the edge of the village, but a short walk took you to the nearest pub and other village facilities. The bungalow is spacious, beautifully furnished with a very high specification. The beds were comfortable with crisp cotton sheets and the showers were hot and there was always plenty of hot water. The bungalow was very well placed for walkers, with paths in all directions from the door. There is a lovely big porch at the front entrance so boots and coats can be left out of the way. We were lucky with the weather and we were able to enjoy all our lunches on the sunny patio, but the conservatory would have been lovely if the weather had been colder. The owners ensured that we knew how things worked by providing full instructions for appliances and switches and plugs were clearly labelled. The bungalow is tardis like, with very generous sized rooms and would easily accommodate two families of two adults and two children (when we are able to do that again). We would not hesitate to recommend this lovely bungalow and will certainly look forward to visiting again in the future.

WOW. What can I say. Thankyou so much for such a glowing review. I am hoping you find the time to come again. Thankyou. Property Owner

As we opened the door on a wet Saturday afternoon we were not disappointed. The house was warm, clean, bright, well furnished and equipped. We have enjoyed walks from the door returning to a nice shower and comfy bed. The village shops kept us supplied with groceries, everyone we saw and spoke to in the village were friendly towards us including the next door neighbour. We will book again without hesitation.
