The Granary

Had a relaxing holiday at a lovely cottage.

A wonderful property as a base for us to explore the area both on foot and by car.

We walked to Newport, Gnosall from the house. Travelled short distances to visit Ironbridge, The Wrekin, Shrewsbury and Attingham Park Estate. Evenings were spent cooking, watching films before settling down in bed. It was the perfect stay - hosts were on hand if we needed anything - which was very minimally required. The most amazing week had. The property is on main road so be aware of this - it did not however impact our stay at all.

Very quiet location. Excellent facilities. Very clean and a lovely hostess. All you could wish for!

The Granary is really spacious and comfortable making it very welcoming.

The bedrooms are large as are the en-suites and the public areas are too. The kitchen is the best equipped of all the holiday cottages I have ever rented, plenty of crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment. The owners included a whole host of useful things (tea-towels, bin bags, dishwasher tablets, j-cloths, soap, shower gel and more) and they very kindly accepted and stowed my food delivery when we were delayed on the way there. The location was perfect for us, being only 25 minutes away from the Ironbridge Gorge museums and we visited a host of other local attractions; RAF Cosford, Shrewsbury (escape room and Prison), Telford Town Park (Adventure Golf), Boscobel House. All are just a short drive away from this rural and peaceful home. I read reviews before I book and I hope that others reading this will book The Granary too, it is a place you can imagine living in not just spending a holiday in. Truly an excellent holiday for us.

An amazing place ,had everything you could have thought of and more.

The owner was very helpful and had left us a wonderful cake on arrival.It was so good having so much space and different sitting areas so you never felt on top of each other if wanted space to yourself.A sitting area outside over looking farm land and horses.A lovely 2 mile walk around the farm ,and roads ideal for cycling if you don't come across a tractor! A great place for couples as you all had your own bathrooms. A lovely place for us to spend a family birthday week.

The Granary is situated in lovely peaceful surroundings but is well situated for exploring Shropshire.

We had an excellent week staying in this spacious comfortable property that had everything we could have wished for. The property is well maintained. The owner is friendly and helpful without being intrusive. We enjoyed the lovely biscuits and eggs left for us. We could not have had a better weeks holiday

It is very well equipped with everything you need and more. It is comfortable and finished and furnished to a very high standard. Would love to return.

The Granary is a lovely property in a beautiful setting.

It's very spacious and easily accommodated the six of us with room to spare! All the furnishings are of a very high standard and very comfy! All in all a wonderful week with good friends in a beautiful house! What more could one want?

The house was lovely and huge and it was great that each bathroom had its own en suite. Caroline was very helpful and easy to contact. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Three older couples with aged parent issues needed a break, and The Granary provided a really relaxing base for us all.

Very well equipped, warm and comfortable, it helped us relax and we had an excellent time.

The host, Caroline, made us feel very welcome and was available to answer any questions. She provided a delicious cake for us to enjoy during our stay. I can highly recommend this property and I hope to be able to return in the not too distant future.
