Ashford Cottage

A great holiday cottage, perfect for me and Spud the dog!

What a fabulous location, very peaceful and fantasic views! A short drive into Bakewell where you find everything you need, and fabulous walks for the hound! Did find it a little difficult to flush the loo, and the sealant and a few tiles in the shower need attention, but none of this caused a problem! Thanks for a great weekend!

Good location on a working farm.

Lovely to hear the donkey every morning! Cottage has everything you need. Heating and internet works well. Nice enclosed garden. Good for pet owners. Only a few minutes drive into Bakewell.

A lovely place to stay, very peaceful.

Comfy beds and good shower. It's great that its dog friendly. The only suggestion I have would be to put a hoover in there, when we have the dog with us we always like to make sure everywhere is clean when leaving so would of been happy to hoover round had there been one. I would definitely recommend this place. Thanks for a lovely stay

Lovely place, everything you could need.

Only problem we had was the noise in the bedroom from the water discharge when loo flushed of bathroom sink emptied.

Very clean great kitchen comfy beds power shower. In a great spot with some great views

Your cottage was lovely, fully equipped, very clean, the view from the garden was breath taking, all 3 of our dogs have never been away from home before and we're a little confused to start with but settled after a while, bakewell was beautiful, we would certainly recommend burton manor farm, it was a shame the garden wasn't completely secure so we couldn't let our dogs outside without.

Being on the lead, but that was our only issue, thank you

I had an accident tonight at the property at 7pm and ended up in A and E with an injury to my foot.

I tripped up / put my foot in a large pothole at the bottom of the driveway and Inverted it. It was dark, driveway was unlit and the hole could not be seen. I have informed the owner about the defect.

Very nice holiday, been going to Burton Manor Farm for many years,and now looking forward to our next stay .

Beautiful location and the cottage was good.

The bathroom could do with a look at, damp and extractor did not work. The cottage would benefit from a hoover as nothing to clean with. Apart from those the cottage was well presented and kitted out.

Lovely stay, nice clean cottage, well equipped.

Nice touch of Bakewell pudding and biscuits and milk. Lovely walks especially to the pub. Will stop again and would recommend.

Enjoyed our stay there.

Just one problem, unable to sit out at the picnic benches due to the large farm dogs doing their business next to benches.
